this item was very thorough in the instructions and if followed well the result is beautiful. and the bamboo spots shine sunlight through as a rainbow and I thought that was a very pretty affect.

Somehow our sidelight windows were a favorite for visitors, welcome and otherwise, to peer into when they approached our door. Honestly the audacity of some people is mind blowing. I contemplated various treatments before deciding that window film would not only block out visitors, but also the setting sun!! I made a template of the windows in my side lights at the front door. The mullions were not removable so I measured each pane individually. Using the template I traced three continuous panes (To keep the pattern aligned) for each side of the door. I used scissors to cut each section. Before I applied the film, I cleaned the windows first. Then I sprayed a light mist of glass cleaner on one pane, applied the film and used the squeegee to remove fluid and bubbles. The process was mildly tedious but so worth it in the end. You'll be so glad you got this window film - go ahead - order it!
