this little shovel is perfect for my needs. it cuts through roots just as advertised. I highly reccomend it. I would like it to have a longer handle but this is a minor issue.

Garden with ease this thing is a beast! It cuts like butter and it will even bust up concrete without breaking! This is very sturdy and just an all around amazing tool. I'm buying another for my daughter!

I absolutely love this shovel. It is lightweight, very sharp, and can cut through roots easily.

It came in very handy, but I wasn't able to use it as much as I wanted for my bigger roots due to me being a small female but it definitely helped me do many of the digging jobs that I couldn't do with a normal shovel. I would definitely recommend this item

I have 4 of them. On one of them the metal broke as I pushed it into the ground . All of them did a great job on burdock and Wild parsnip.

Had a root slayer shovel that was stolen, loved it. Ordered a new one but never noticed the size. When it was delivered it looks like it was designed for a 6 yr old child. Well made heavy duty but SUPER small !!

It is very short. I'm not tall at all (66 inches) and have to bend deeply to use it. I would buy it if it is 10-15 inches longer.
