ROPE SALAD DRYER WITH STOP, GREEN - 4L

I love my salad spinner! I have had it for about a month now and have used it often! Our garden lettuce has been producing a lot so we have eaten salad frequently this past month! I haven't had a single problem with this spinner. Great product for the price!

I am happy that I got this Progressive Prep Solutions 4-Quart Salad Spinner. I had a larger one with dividers and a push top, but honestly, I feel like this one is better. The pull string gives it enough spin to effectively spin out the water. I also think that because it doesn't have dividers, the lettuce or veggies have a chance to get sucked to the sides allowing more of the water to push out. There is also a stop button feature, but I typically just let it stop on its own. Overall, I am happy with this spinner.

Went to 2 difference Walmart stores looking for this item. When they were both out of stock, I decided to order it online and have it delivered to my local store (to avoid shipping charges). Product came in on time and the whole process was so easy. This salad spinner is excellent. I use the spinner to was my lettuce and then use the basket to serve. I am buying 2 more as gifts.

This is a substantial salad spinner. Not only is it quite large and could easily fit a whole head of iceberg lettuce if not more, the construction of it as well-made as well. The interior part that works like a colander is also substantial and well-made. The mechanism to spin the lettuce or whatever is easy to use and it's easy to get the lettuce rinsed well. I thought it was just to get the water off of lettuce. But I learned that if you rinse even store-bought bag lettuce and place it in a container on paper towels after you spin it it can last over a week longer then just keeping it in the container.

I am very impressed with this salad spinner, and so was my father when I used it in front of him the other day. He has a push-button salad spinner, and when he saw me pulling the handle, he literally said aloud, "That gets some serious velocity!" And he's right! This thing spins very fast, and that means a quicker dry! It is well-made of sturdy plastics that are definitely going to last the test of time. This is undoubtedly the best salad spinner I've ever used, and yet the design is so wonderfully simple. The cord is easy to pull, and once you get it going, it really gains speed! With it being so efficient, sturdy, and well-made, I find this spinner a total winner!

This is a sturdy salad spinner that comes in handy when making salads for a family dinner or lunch. It will help take off the excess water after rinsing your greens. It has a handle that pulls the spinner around and a button to stop the spinning when you are ready.

I'm happy to have bought this Progressive Salad Spinner from Walmart. I ordered it online to be ready for pickup at my nearby Walmart. I picked it up about two hours later and bought some groceries while I was at it. Very convenient. The only problem was a missing rubber ring on the bottom to help keep the unit still on the counter while in use. Fortunately we were able to reuse the ring off our previous spinner so problem solved.

All in one salad prep is what this spinner is. I was super excited to get this salad spinner because I've always wanted one but only ever came across small ones. This one is a nice medium/large size and I'm able to wash a few hearts of romaine at once. It comes in 3 parts, a bottom bowl to wash lettuce, a part to drain it and then of course the lid. Use it separate to prep lettuce and then put it all together to give it a nice spin. I'm always drying my lettuce after a wash with paper towels which is wasteful but now with this salad spinner I can have nice dry lettuce without the extra waste. Lid also comes with a button to stop spinner at anytime. It's a must of every veggie lover :)

It worked great until it broke. After only a handful of uses the peg that holds all the spinning mechanism parts together snapped and rendered it useless

This salad spinner is awful. It was shipped well and arrived without any damage to the product or the box. I have another salad spinner with a pull string handle that is amazing. This one looks almost the same but does not work at all. It will only spin if you have the cover in your hand, pull the handle several times and pop it in the salad bowl. If you put the cover on and pull the string, nothing happens inside the bowl. I did notice if I hold the entire container at a 90 degree angle while pulling the handle it will work, but once it is back on a flat surface it will no longer spin. It is a disappointment to say the least. Do not buy this salad spinner unless you plan on taking an extra trip to the store to return it.
