Good choice
Any differences in flavor and texture are small when compared to pinto bean refrieds. The point of black beans is that they are more nutritious with more antioxidants and minerals. My can had no dents. Please recycle your steel cans and paper can labels.

A staple in my household. flavor, texture, value
I love these. The flavor is excellent. The texture is not just mushy, but also contains larger pieces. So long as they keep making them like this, these will continue to make regular appearances in my home. Make wraps or burritos with them, eat them with chips, add rice and chopped veggies; heck, even try making a pizza with them (partially prebake the crust so they don't stay in the oven too long). A great base for your culinary innovation and/or weird quirks.

Beans Beans the Magical Fruit
These beens never get used for their original intention. I put it into sandwiches instead... occasionally in wraps, but not mexican additives otherwise. Other folks should try that with these beans and they smell so good when first opened. If you put the can in the fridge, it'll keep it's taste a bit. I haven't made it through a full one of these in a good while.

Great texture and flavor
These Rosarita black, refried beans are very flavorful. Some other brands are quite bland or have a funky texture. These warm up smooth and delicious with a wonderful texture.

These are harder to find than regular pinto refried beans. They are easier to digest and have a better flavor than regular refried pinto beans.

As always, Rosarita Low Fat Refried Black Beans do not disappoint! They are full of important fiber %26 have lots of flavor.
