This is my third Ross Root Feeder in many years. The first one lasted a long time. Unfortunately, my second one broke in less than five years. The root feeder does what it's advertised to do.

works as advertised. Be careful working into dry hard soil. The tip has come loose allowing water to squirt out seams other than the four design holes intended to squirt the water.

Leaks & flimsey
Leaks at cup and where shaft meets as well. Shaft flimsy. Wouldn't even push into ground more than a couple of inches even after watering soil. Flow rate is anemic even with great pressure in hose that supplies water from house. Had one years ago when it was built in the U.S.A. and all steel. Worked very well. This one is cheaply made.
