Everything is great about this clothing item, including wearing for working in the yard. I like that the pant legs are able to be cinched up to the knee in hot weather. I am sure that I will appreciate uncinching the pant legs for cooler weather. For me, very diversified uses. Nice enough to be considered good casual for going to the movies, eating out, etc. Colors are subdued. I appreciate that these are high-waisted. I do not put these pants in the dryer.
A scosh tight fitting. I have a small waist and bigger hips and I would size up if you would prefer them a little loose rather than tighter. I don't think the material will "give" at all. I really like them and they're comfortable. I bought an xl and am a hippy 14.
They're comfy and now a favorite pair to wear. Took them on a trip and they lasted hand washing and air drying. They're stretchy in all the right places and aren't too baggy, tight or see through
I like the tailored style, they're very well made, and the fabric is a nice summer weight that would be great for any casual event as well as beach, gardening , dog walking etc. Definitely a quick dry fabric. They fit well. Nice color too. It's just that the capri length isnt really a good look on me, I was hoping they'd be a little longer. I tried,
Lightweight and comfortable for summer! The higher waist is a plus. The ties at the bottom of each leg are a bit long for my taste, so I will probably come up with a way to cut/shorten them. I have two pairs of these capris, the dark khaki and the navy.
I guess I didnt realize it was made of parachute material so they fit rather baggy. . I wouldnt wear them to a BBQ but they will be fine for walking my doggy and walks to town.. Good deep pockets for keys, phone etc and the waistband fits high like I wanted. I think its overpriced.
What many have said in the reviews is true. The waist elastic is VERY tight, and does not seem to fit more typical hip to waist ratios. One solution to this is to open the waistband at the back and snip out the elastic, and just use the drawstring. However, this creates a different problem. Without the elastic to hold it higher on the waist, the waistband slips lower. While it is (for me) more comfortable at that level, it makes the crotch sit about 4 inches further down. The fabric isn't stiff, but still seems to retain it's shape and structure while wearing. It is not see-thru. Unfortunately, though, it's very swishy, meaning everyone around you will hear you walking. Minus -5 pts to your Stealth or Ninja Skills with these on. There is a moderate amount of stretch to the fabric. I noticed no restriction of movement. It's more akin to the stretch you get in jeans with spandex than a tshirt type cloth. Finally, I found that the modifications to the waistline were okay alterations to have to make, I still felt that the thigh/legs are still just way too wide. And due to the fabric's less-than-flowy-ness my legs look "fat" in these. For reference, I regularly wear a size 12. I bought a Large (L) The elastic in these is 2 inches wide top to bottom and 32 in. around and STRONG. After elastic removal the waist is about 33 in around (unstretched.) Hip measurement approx 47 in around. Thigh is 27 in around or 13.5 laid flat. Overall, I'd say they're okay. Because they are so big I probably won't wear in public. If I had it to do over, I'd size down and plan to remove the elastic. But even on sale for under eighteen dollars, they seem pricey for clothing that needs mods. Make you you view the sizing image provided - don't trust the Walmart provided one. One positive is that my entire Samsung A50 phone fits into the front pocket and showed little risk of slipping out.
The pants are great. Lightweight, cool, no wrinkle and wash well. The problem is the waistband does not correspond to the pants size. The waistband is about two sizes too small and is made of industrial strength two inch wide elastic. It rolls and binds and pinches. I liked the overall fit and material so well that I bought three pair BUT before wearing I stretched the waistband over the back of a dining room chair to work some “give” into the very unforgiving waist fit.
I like these and the fit was perfect. The material is much thinner than I expected, however, not bad for summer months. It's an odd blend and feels a bit flimsy making the pant fall oddly on my legs. With that said, I recommend them for summer months if you are camping, easy to roll up with such think material. Overall: a good buy for the $ if you want something to lounge in on a summer day! Good for boating!
The material is thin and shows skin color except where the pockets are. It fits well.
