Rough Country 1.25" Body Lift Kit (fits) 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ LJ | Body Mount System | 1157

I have bought many RC products in the past with no issues but this time I was missing a 2 body bolts. Called costumer service and was told a hardware kit would be sent right away. Got the box 2 days later and it was an entire new kit. No arguing on the phone and they have got a RC fan for life. BTW RC Has came along and they are not cheap or poorly made kits.

I installed this kit on my 2001 tj wrangler with 31 10x50 tires i now have 6 inches of clearance between top of tire and mud guards in front and 6.5 inches in the back i have plenty of travel no rubbing at all kit was pretty easy to install took me about 4.5 hrs with lift jack wouldn't have taken that long but i had really rusty shock bolts and had to drill and tap out one hole and cut front shocks off with saw saw to install new ones great kit really set my jeep off thanks ROUGH COUNTRY.

This kit works as advertised. My only complaint is it's not a leveling kit. I still have a forward take after instal and was hoping this would level my Jeep. There's a good step by step video done by extreme terrain on how to instal this. It's really helpful. No driveline vibrations after my install.

Bought this to replace my 17 year old stock mounts. I love that it gave me another inch of lift as my 35's look so much better under there now. Instructions were really good. EXCEPT they don't tell you what to torque the bolts too. They just list what the max torque is for the bolt diameter. I already installed 1 inch lift motor mounts and everything lined up good. It rides like a it should now. I HIGHLY recommend this kit to anyone!!!

Old Wrangler shocks were blown so I decided to replace them as well as add on this spacer kit. Once you get off the rusted bolts it's one of the easiest installations! Not to add the few extra inches did not have a negative impact on the ride quality. I was reluctant to try rough country at first but am glad I went through with it !

Straight forward install. Worked and looked as expected. The shocks are a definite upgrade over stock. I would suggest not releasing the cam bolts (as suggested in the directions) but instead use 2 ratchet straps to compress the springs. I believe, it saves significant time.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it. Just the right height, adds a little style to the factory ride height. The shocks are very good and makes the jeep ride better than the factory shocks. Very impressed overall. Shipping was very fast also, received the kit in just a few days. Overall very satisfied. Bought this kit for my 97 Tj. Went ahead and got the 2.0 shocks that are sold with the kit. Install it all within a few hours pretty simple instal if you can turn a wrench.Lift seems solid for the price. I'm very happy and will definitely stick with RC!

I am very happy with the 2" body lift from Rough Country. I did the lift myself and the detailed step-by-step made it easy. The only issue I had was the shift handle extension. The shift handle was hitting the center console so I left the extension off and will have to make a modified one later. Other than that, everything you need was included and went together perfectly.

The kit is great. Used with 31/10.50R15 tires. I gave it 4 and not 5 stars because it was shipped with only 2 shocks - 1 for the front and 1 for the rear. I contacted the the company and they immediately shipped the missing shocks at no extra charge. Customer Service was great.
