It works. A lot more work in the garage floor than what I expected. Need deep well metric sockets for everything. A lot harder to get into truck after leveling it. Wasn't anticipating that.

I bought this leveling kit because my truck was passed due for new struts. The strut spacers previously installed were made of steel and rusted solid to the top of the strut spring assembly. The Rough country spacers are perfect to get your ride up, easy to install and gave me confidence they will not rust or seize to my suspension components. I highly recommend this kit for anyone with the 04-08 F 150.

This leveling kit did exactly what I wanted; raise the front end to throw on some taller wheels! Went with 18" wheels on r65's and just made it perfectly! I only purchased the extender but should've gotten the complete kit. I ended up replacing struts because they were 12 years old and needed to be changed so I ended up noticing that during installation and adjusted and replaced them too. Turned a 1.5 hr job to a 4 hour job but well worth it!! I am VERY satisfied with my trucks new look!!

I really like the easy installation on the rough country leveling strut extensions. I had a different brand of strut extensions on my 2007 F-150 prior to getting the rough country version and they were similar but instead of a nut and bolt that you tap into the strut extension and tighten down the other brand had bolts with allen wrench heads which made them harder to properly tighten down as well as when I went to remove them to put on the new rough country's it was almost impossible to get them out without having to cut the bolt. I did however have to cut one of the bolts as it got to a point and would not unscrew any further. For the other bolts I was able to get out it seemed as if they had pulled the aluminum off of the strut extension inside of the thread but they wasn't cross threaded. However I am really enjoying the new look on my truck with the rough country level my truck looks a lot meaner and ready for some rough country!!!

So far I have no complaints about this lift. My truck looks great and I have gotten what I expected. However, NO shock boots? They only cost a few bucks and they can't be added? I now have to take my shocks half off to instal the ones I ordered and paid next day air for. Again, I do like the left itself. And the instal video, for the front, was very helpful. Need a video that includes the rear also.
