Rough Country 2.5" Suspension Leveling Kit for 2003-2013 Expedition - 585

Installed the 3” suspension kit with a buddy. Install was straight forward and the results are great! Ride height and ground clearance are noticeable improved. Suspension is much firmer than stock but doesn't bother me…rides like a truck and I use it for truck stuff so I like it. Feels stable and planted compared to the super soft stock setup. Alignment was a pice of cake too. Just finished a 1500 mile drive through mountains and backroads and everything worked well. Would recommend and would buy again!

Great looks, rides rougher, but the wife is fine with the ride quality because she loves the way it sits now. 5 stars though. P. s. you don't have to remove the axle nut on the front hubs… and if you do be SURE not to overtighten the nut. Learned that the hard way lol.

I absolutely love the feel of this lift and it worked with 35" tires. Truck feels plenty planted. The rear end was somewhat difficult to compress the springs with a standard spring compression tool. I'm sure at a shop or with a hyrdaulic kit no problem but if your DIY'ing the install, go big on the compression tool for safety.

I installed this kit on my 2023 Expedition Timberline and did not have any issues. For anyone wondering if this fits the Timberline, it does. After installing the lift, the truck was sitting high in the rear. I removed the pre-load spacers and it sits perfectly level now. I am running 295/60R20 Ridge Grapplers and do not have any rubbing, no trimming. The rear tires are also centered in the wheel well, which other lifts do not accomplish. Overall I am happy with this lift and would recommend it to anyone looking.

Exceptional kit. I also installed the dual steering stabilizer kit and new OEM rear springs. The truck sits absolutely level and has zero rub with 35”x12.5 Falken AT3s. The ride is better than stock. Easy install and all parts were exact fit. Highly recommend this kit.

I have been buying rough country lift kits for over 15 years now for every vehicle I have lifted. They make a great quality product and easy to install. The kit I installed this time was on a 2000 ford excursion w/7.3 diesel. I was shopping around and nothing I found for the the Ford Excursion even similar to the Rough Country kit. I was a little concerned that 3” lift was going to be a little too high but it was just the right hight. It looks sweet! Thanks Rough Country.

I got the parts delivered with Fed Ex and the boxes were damaged, the leaf springs were damaged and I had to cut the bolts out of the leaf springs to repair and replace them due to Fed Ex not shipping with care. Was a pain in the butt and took me a while to get them fixed right.
