Put this lift on my 1988 V20 K2500 Suburban. It all went into place well. All needed parts were included. Rides very well. Would recommend.
If you do the kit replace upper and lower control arms and steering components vehicle drives amazing rides better than it did stock.
Every thing went well, fit right, no issues. Took me a lot more than the estimated 8-10 hours install. ;-)
ORI in Winchester VA removed the previous Rough Country leveling kit and installed a new M1 strut 6 inch lift kit and new M1 rear shocks . Truck turned out better than anticipated
I completely eliminated my factory air ride by opening the passenger rear panel in the trunk and cutting the orange wire going to the module. After that I replaced the rear shocks with Monroe helper shocks. I also replaced my upper & lower control arms, tie rods, and wheel hubs in the process. One other recommendation, replace your oil pan while you have the diff out. I went back with some RC 18x9 -12 wheels and 35x12. 50 tires. All I have left now is trimming the front bumper and an alignment! Helpful tips to get your torsion bars out: Spray both ends with penetrating lube the night before. Mark the bar in as many places as you need to for easy reference when you reassemble. Grab the bar near the front and twist opposite of the direction the torsion bar was holding it and hit it with a dead blow, trying to direct your impact in that same direction. Once the front is unbound, use a punch to drive the rear of the bar out of the key. Don't let the key hit you in the face when it falls.
Great lift. Still rides smooth. Wasn't hard to install. Loved that it came with an extended knuckle so much better then the old style lifts that moved both control arms. Also for anyone wondering like myself at first. It does work on the 3500 SRW as that's what mine is
The back u bolts are way to long
The instructions could have a few more pics or in color at least , but overall not to bad . To install this kit is a big job but looks very nice !
Pleased with the product gave me exactly what I wanted. . my only issue is service and packaging. . bought the kit. Half the packages arrived 🙌 other half arrived with missing hardware. . lucky for me I had everything I needed for the front. Sadly for me I was missing hardware for my rear. Ended not using the rear hardware and purchased other hardware elsewhere. . before purchasing new hardware I did contact customer support for a replacement on missing hardware, got the help n was told missing parts will be shipped out. . never received packaging n a notice. . called back n always redirect on hold for xx amount of time. So I gave up. . only complaint is better packaging and customer support is needed. . watsted mybe a few hundred on rear end parts I didn't even use do to missing hardware. .
Boxes were in a bad shape and one of them was opened when delivered ok front porch. I wasn't present during the delivery otherwise i would have refused. I'll find out if anything is missing when i start assembling.
