M1 Monotube rear shocks

Russell G. June 29, 2025

My 14 year old shocks had worn bushings. My rear end was bouncy. I decided to buy Roughcountry M1 shocks. I like the pressed in steel sleeve bushings, the top bushing was just rubber ne steel sleeve. The shock work very well for my application my truck rides much more firm, with no bounce. I have a 2. 5” RC leveling kit on the front and a 1 1/4 rear spring block.

Good factory replacement.

Daniel A. May 24, 2025

I installed these on my 2006 silverado 1500 with no lift, and it worked out well. Been a couple weeks and it's riding fine. Word to the wise, if you have no lift, you will need to compress these struts to install them on the rear end. Strong large zip ties worked well.

Great buy

Buffalo O. November 1, 2025

Added these to my 22' Toyota Tacoma. They are adjustable, I raised the front 1” to level my truck. Looks great and rides stiff. I'm able to hit turns like go cart. They feel great on the road.

Mono tube rear shocks

Mark W. July 20, 2025

Surprised they didn't have covers over the ram part but maybe they're hard enough they won't get picked up from debris. Just put them on so not a lot to review.

Big difference

Jason J. March 27, 2025

So far I'm really happy with the upgrade to the M1 shocks. To be fair, my old N3 shocks served their purpose for 100k miles, but they were completely broken down. Looking forward to trying these out on a little more aggressive terrain in the woods this Spring.

M1 monotube 0-4" shocks 2016 Silverado

Christopher L. October 16, 2025

Just install on 10/13/25, so far so good. My old shocks were dead and these fit perfectly with my 3 inch lift. Only time will tell, but im liking them so far!!

great shocks

John m. November 7, 2025

Firmed up the '99 gmc 1/2 ton to greatly enhance the towing capability while towing my 23' travel trailer. I'll put the lighter shocks back on when not towing as it rides a little too stiff on the rough streets where I live.

Fixed clunking noises/swaying/jerking

Stephen C. November 30, 2024

2009 4 door Rubicon with 203,000 miles. My old original shocks had totally worn out bushings and would make rattling and clanking sounds driving over any sort of bumps. The OG shocks (bushings) weren't doing their job so there was extra sway and jerking side to side in the vehicle. Got the new ones on and now there's no clunking noises, and the extra jerking and swaying is gone (still has your typical lifted Jeep sways). Pretty happy with these new shocks!

Rear Chocks

Ariel .. August 5, 2025

Bushing gone on one of the old pair, renewed both. Job took a little longer as I did not have a compression tool but managed it. Ride is like new!

Installed Perfectly

Jason K. June 17, 2025

Great product. Great bolt-in. Lift looks great, took the rake right outta the truck and made the stance look TUFF!
