Really simple to get hooked up. Only issue was the clamps for the elbows from the tailpipe, I couldn't get them to clamp down enough to hold in place. I had to buy a couple u bolt exhaust clamps. Other than that it worked out great. Looks 10x better and sounds great. Not overly loud but still a throaty growl.
I needed a replacement exhaust for a 2022 Frontier that oddly had the muffler rot from the TOP. OEM was the only option until I found this. About as loud as a muffler with a 3" hole in the top, the stainless pipes, gorgeous flanges and clamps and ease of install make this a no brainer for $650. Plus Free shipping and it arrived in 3 days!
I'm impressed with this cat?back exhaust. The fitment on my Tacoma was spot?on, and installation was straightforward. The sound is exactly what I wanted—deep and aggressive when you get on the throttle, but still controlled while cruising. Definitely worth the upgrade if you want better performance with mild interior drone.
Over all an easy installation and great price the only problem I had was the exact tip bolts were to small and one broke before it was tight enough to hold the tip on so II had to upgrade them with some I already had. And as far as sound I love that it's not to loud a very mild sound.
They weren't to difficult to put together. They sound amazing. The only con is the bolts that bolt to the flange first piece you install they seem like they should be grade 8 it's just a stainless bolt and nut. Think I'm going to swap them out for stronger bolts when the weather gets better. Overall yes I'd recommend these.
This is probably one of the best sounding exhausts for the 3. 5 Ecoboost. It has a good deep rumble but doesn't drone going down the road. It sounds throaty but not obnoxious. It was fairly easy to install, the rear pipes gave me the most scratch your head moments because the included instructions don't really help much with the rear pipes. The bolts that come with the tips will break so it's best you go and buy some grade 8 bolts before mounting the exhaust tips. Other than that it was a pretty straightforward install for a high quality exhaust.
Was not aware that you could not run your factory resonator had to modify slightly to reinstall the resonator truck sounds great was a little loud without the resonator also instructions are horrible as far as telling you exactly where the three short straight pipes go I assembled and reassembled the exhaust on this truck three times just to get that correct I am very mechanically inclined so I was not a first-timer instructions are poor other than the other than that four stars exhaust looks great sounds great now with the resonator thank you rough country
Installed the CAT back on my RAM classic and it sounds great but not too loud for cruising down the interstate. I only have one complaint. The bolts for the exhaust tips are stupidly too small in diameter. I think the were M5. They aren't strong enough to clamp the tips without damaging the threads. I ended up putting 3/8" cadmium bolts on one tip and plan to replace both with stainless 3/8" or M10. Everything else was a great fit.
The sound is nice the ease of installation is good as well. The reason for four stars is the fact that you have to check the joints often before you can figure out the proper placement and you need to make sure it does not dislodge from itself. Maybe a few clamps so that it does not slide back and forth on the hangers once in place.
The bolts that come with the tips are not big or strong enough to pull the clamps that tighten them to the 80 degree pipes. I had one of the bolts break in half and the other bend on me. I had to go buy bigger stronger bolts to put them on. Overall the exhaust system is holding up nicely and sounds great.
