Rough Country Stainless Brake Lines for 1999-2004 Ford Super Duty - 89717

Probably the most overlooked upgrade, but a necessary one. It never crossed my mind to change the lines on my 2008 JK. Still had the stock lines despite all the other brake upgrades I had done already. Even after rotors, calipers and pads, the biggest difference in the feel of the pedal when braking has come after changing the lines. Would highly suggest if you're going to upgrade your braking system on an older Jeep, don't forget to change the lines. These are a great quality and a great price. Install is simple. Removing the old ones can be quite the chore if you still have the original ones on an older Jeep.

After 26 years of loyal service (and whoever installed the lift kit prior to my purchase of the truck) while rebuilding the Dana 50 on my F250, the factory brake lines showed their age (and we're too short for the 6" lift the previous owner installed). I installed the longer braided SS lines and all is properly! No more stretching brake lines when wheels turned to the stops. Thank you for the kit, RC! I hope you consider making the two shorter lines that service the rear rear axle calipers.

These worked on my 1988 V20 K2500 Suburban. They were high quality and fit exactly as they should. They have plenty of reach for a 6in lift. Very much worth the money.

Had to drill out the bracket where it mounts with the retainer clip, other than that everything seems to be good quality.

Bought these for my 2015 Ram 1500 and with only having to relocate the mounting hole on the frame, they fit great, look great, and function way better then stock brake lines. For the price you can't beat them.

Lines work as intended and cheaper than other brands.

I picked these up to go along with a new break kit I was installing in the rear of my jeep. Super easy to install. 4 stars only because the bracket they give is not big enough to reach the mounting point in the drivers side rear.

I used them in a 2. 5 inch lifted Jeep jk. Worked well! Better to buy this set of 4 for basically the same cost of replacing just 1 rubber line.

Overall they seem like good quality and should last a long time. One issue I did have was the mounting brackets are all drilled on one side. When I mounted them on the opposite side it placed them in the wrong position. I did not want to deform the lines iso I drilled them out and they mounted up nicely. My last complaint would be the need for a better mount for the line. The stock bracket by the shock and spring is removed and the new line is now in front where it is free to move. I ordered the Teraflex flex mounts which worked great. Maybe RC can address the mounting brackets and throw in some mounts in the future. Still a good buy for the money.

This rear brake line looks like it's good quality, but it does not fit the stock upper mount of a 1976 K10. The website says it's compatible, but there should be a warning that modification would be required.
