I have a 2020 jeep wrangler diesel with 2. 5" of lift. I was running 35s but decided to go to 37s when it was time to replace the tires. I looked at the option of rubicon fender flares but these fenders from rough country were cheaper than the oem rubicon and offered more clearance and tire coverage. Pair those features with the narrow look of the turn signal and it's a no brainer. I couldn't be happier with the fit and finish. Only possible complaint I could give it aftermarket fender liners are a must with these fenders and the ones rough country offer don't fit the diesel model, so I had to look elsewhere for the finder liners.
Like they was OE or something these went on just as the instructions said they would. The lights could have had more info on how to get it to work but once figured out they was good.
Great fit look good and gained 6 Inches of clearance in the front.
I LOVE these fenders, the texture and color is perfect and the sleek turn signals is a cool touch. If there is one thing I would add is, if the material was just a tad thicker it would be perfect. But other than that it's a great product for the price. Please visit: https://imallcrawl.*** for a more info and photos of the fenders installed on my JT Gladiator.
Definitely download the instructions to your phone or Ipad. After you figure out the first front fender the rest is easy, Lol. It took me about 6 hrs. 2018 JLU Sport with stock suspension. I put on Milestar Patagonia M/T 02 tires 315/70R17 basically 34s and no rubbing. Great product!!!
Flare secures nicely, looks great, and had them installed in about 4 hours. The only downside I have with them is the light cut out isn't the greatest but I think with a warmer day and a Dremel I can clean them up to fit the light nicer. Gained about 3 inches between the front fender and tire. I also reused my factory inner fender liners but trimmed with a pair of shears and used factory bolt locations on the front and pushed push pins to hold up and then tucked the section towards the door behind the flare. On the rear I cut I trimmed to even with body and then the lip of the flare holds them up. Removing the liners completely isn't needed if you decide to go this route.
If you like to keep the flavor of the factory look, These are what you are looking for. I did not re-use my original inner liners so Installation was quite easy. I needed to trim the turn signal housing a bit for proper fit. The trimming was all on the areas not visible from the outside. The fenders fit perfectly and the push pins are of good quality. A few lengths of wire loom would be nice in the kit for the turn signal harness. No big deal. I recommend these for sure.
Pretty simple installation with basic tools and basic mechanical knowledge. Took a bit of heat gun and pressure to get the marker/signal lights to fit into place. They still aren't a great fit but will work fine and look ok once made to fit. Overall fit was good and all the holes lined up as they should for mounting.
Easy installation. Was skeptical about the lights, but it works and looks pretty good. Rear installation was really easy and looks really good. Love the clearence it provides
Definitely download the directions because the paper directions are black and white. Just trust me. After the first front fender the second one is easy. Ran into trouble with a thread insert on the riverside light assembly. Once I got it to grab and not pop out I was able to tighten it. They look great!!! Larry B
