I have an area in my back yard that is never used so I use this to kill everything. It lasts a long time and I don't have to mow. Being 80 years old this saves me time and effort. I use about two jugs a year since it lasts approximately 6 months of no growth of anything. Plus here in Texas we have very little rain and its always hot and dry. I love this stuff and use it twice if not more a year. Price is good and its very effective. Just make certain to wear mask so as not to inhale and spray on a non-windy day. Great stuff.
Follow the directions, the product work as expected. Despite the smell, the product works great. Definitely kills down the roots, making it easy for removal. I am using it to kill the grass in order to replace it.
I use this to kill Quack Grass. I have neighbors who cultivate the stuff and it spreads into my property. Unfortuantely, the only thing that kills Quack Grass kills everything else as well (aka lawn). The right way to use it for my purposes... kill it all and reseed - get it early in the season before the Quack can develop. It's a struggle!
Two applications a day apart will kill weeds nicely. Just remember to wear a mask, gloves and long pants to protect skin. This product can cause cancer if you come in contact with it or breathe it in. Keep away from pet areas and places where children play.
It works great on dandelions growing in your yard. It doesnt kill the grass roots but it does turn the spot you stayed brown. The direction say to fix it as instructed and I did follow exactly, the result was as above. I liked the fact it killed the weeds but not turning my lawn spotty with brown spots. That sucked.
most misunderstood product on the market! absorbed by the plant and taken in to kill the roots...dries in ten minutes, once dry is safe for pets and children. it does NOT contaminate the soil or run off into streams and lakes. It is a caustic chemical, DO wear protective clothing and take a shower. You can plant s few days later, leave the sprayed grass/weeds alone to have time propertly kill their roots...it does take a little longer than expected, but it won't affect your new plants! totally worth it. Lost all my gardens to invasive weeds that nothing else worked on. Round Up is my hero, and I'm an avid enviromentalist, organic vegetarian advocate!
I know we must use chemical products sparingly and Roundup is no exception. It must be used responsibly. When I need to eliminate unwanted weeds, Roundup is my product of choice.
I purchased this product for delivery because it seems it is always sold out in the local store. Quick delivery and I will use Walmart for future purchases.
Unfortunately for me, I didn't pay attention to the label. I thought this was the concentrate. But i used it and it worked very quickly. In fact, it could have been cut with water to double the amount of weed killer. It was 2% glyphosate. Most weeds will die with just a 1% concentration. Lesson learned...
i have bought two jugs of Roundup neither worked , it has always worked for me my guess they changed the ingredients don't waste your money on Roundup anymore!
