I love round-up and I use it every year to keep weeds at bay on my property. I some times get discouraged with the sprayers....and they have failed to operate in the past and unfortunately with my new jug, but round up has been good to send me a replacement upon request. Ordering from round up was fast and easy and the product came sooner than expected, however the sprayer quit on me after I started and would only produce foam from the nozzle. I tried all the tricks I knew, with no success. I did request a new sprayer, but have not received word as of today. Pump sprays are labor intensive and the sprayer that comes with round up is wonderful to use. That is one reason why I keep buying this product.
Really does the job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Roundup works. I like it.
Not a strong spray out of the wand. Seems like a weak battery.
Like the other reviewers, I had problems with the one touch spray wand. The actual Round Up worked great and killed what I needed it to when it sprayed, but the sprayer wand failed after only a few uses. I brought it back and bought the Round Up bottle with the Pump N Go top. Smart move -- it works great! I used up the first Pump N Go pre-fill, and have since used Round-Up concentrate+water to refill the bottle over and over. Today, I used it for the 15th time, and it's working like a charm every time. No leaks, no sprayer failures. Spend a few extra dollars and upgrade to the Pump N Go bottle. As for the effectiveness of Round Up...like the label says, it takes a few days to effectively kill, but it does indeed kill. I've tried many others, and there is no substitute for Round Up.
In general this product works for getting weeds and grass, but it just stopped spraying. The only thing that comes out of the comfort grip sprayer is white goop. I can feel that there is more product in the container but nothing comes out. I've lifted the container above the sprayer and tried that but still just white goop. Any suggestions?
I do not like Roundup because it is not a good deal. Shop online to find your best deals and do some comparison shopping. The concentrate in other brand names is your best option for affordability. Roundup has numerous lawsuits and it is not safe to spray where your pet dogs play in the yard.
The weed killer itself is ok, the dispenser wand is total garbage. The first gallon I bought the sprayer wouldn't work. When I finally did get it to work (someone at the factory had put the batteries in wrong) it worked for about three seconds then stopped spraying. I ended up taking it back to the store for an exchange. The second one worked the first day then I went to use it again today and the sprayer will not work now. It just runs and runs but only spits out small amounts of foam. Cannot get it to work. Now I have to go out and buy a whole new sprayer to put the Roundup in order to use it. It's really wasting my time and money.
I purchased Roundup with the comfort wand and the wand motor lasted about 30 seconds. Thinking maybe the batteries had expired in it I replaced the batteries it had with same and nothing. Couldn't get pump motor to come on at all. Had to pour the chemical in my old trusty roundup jug that has the hand pump and threw the battery operated wand away. As if I didn't learn my lesson the first time, I bought another roundup battery operated comfort wand and it only lasted half a lap around my fence. So I just bought a hand pump sprayer and roundup refills. It's cheaper that way and you don't get stuck paying for a sprayer that doesn't work. In my case two that don't work.
I followed the instructions and 5 hours later everything is green and happy. how much of the stuff am I supposed to spray on each weed?
