Roundup Weed & Grass Killer III, Ready-to-Use 1 gal with Trigger Sprayer

My yard is almost 2 acres with huge pecan trees. I use the roundup around the trees due to the roots being so large. I have messed up my mower running over them trying to mow grass. Works within a couple of hours and did not have problems with sprayer as I have with other weed killers. This is the best.

I live using this to kill weeds in my walkway and my flowerbeds. I love that it's easy to use. Everything is so convenient. The wand does the work for you! It has a couple different options for spray, which is nice. I just walk and spray the weeds and it's super simple. It does exactly as it says and the weeds are visibly deteriorating within a few hours. Don't spray on a windy day though!

Great for small areas (where the grass and weeds are growing in the cracks of a sidewalk and driveway, etc) or for those that aren't able to tote a large Sprayer. Easy to use and direct the spray exactly where you want it. Works fast with no lingering smell.

The backyard was overgrown with Russian sage. Landscapers came out three times to remove this overgrowth, but the rhizomes just kept coming back. With the roundup we are now making progress. It is also working on invading elm. I just spray the leaves (I use the foam setting). Do it early in the day so that the photosynthesis can make this poison more effective. And the label says it is safe for children and pets.

Don't believe all the lawyers %26 losers who claim this causes cancer. I worked landscaping for years and this stuff is the BEST. Take note that you MUST apply it properly: lightly and NEVER in a wind. It is particularly valuable for those with poison ivy allergies. It won't kill that persistent and obnoxious weed the first time (nothing does) but eventually it will decimate it completely.

I know this is not supposed to be safe. I use homemade weed killer where my dogs walk. But I spray Roundup on days with no wind. In my development, I am responsible for sidewalk and rolling curb all the way to the blacktop. I am very happy with the results. My only issue with this is that I had to change the batteries in the hand piece immediately.

I love the chemical for it's weed killing power, so I had hoped that this mechanical "Trigger Sprayer" might be more reliable than their battery powered wand sprayer. I ended up buying a one gallon garden "pump" sprayer and transferring the chemical.

The Roundup itself works just fine, no problem there. However, the shipping is awful. The first one I got was cracked on the bottom and FedEx had to put it into another box! Replacement was easy to get an thankfully the 2nd one wasn't a mess. They really need to do better with packaging.

I usually buy a different brand, but this was on sale and I wanted to save money. The other brand kills the sedge in my mulch beds with 1 treatment as well as all the other less aggressive weeds. I have applied 2 treatments of this brand on the sedge and it is still green and growing and some of the less aggressive weeds are still thriving. The nozzle... worthless. It foams the solution out. It does not have direct spray/stream, so you hope it hits the weed you are aiming at. The pressure (what there is) is very light, so I had to get close. There is no stream option... yes, the nozzle has a 'stream' side, but it does NOT stream. It is like a foam hand soap dispenser... just oozes out and falls down on the weeds. I literally had to get down to the weed and spray within 6 inches. My knees were not thanking me. I will not buy again. I'll bite the bullet and pay for the nicer brand that works... nozzle and solution.

Bought this at Walmart.com for 10.98. Have been using Roundup for years and love the efficacy. So when I saw the price, I ordered right away. Didnt kill a thing...still spraying, still not killing a thing. Makes me think they knew it was defective and sold it anyway...Sad.
