ROVSUN 8000 BTU Inverter Window-Mount Air Conditioners, White

First off, the installation was a little tricky, but that's purely because of my window. We live in a modular home, so the windows are a bit different at the base with how the lips are at the bottom. Easy fix with an air conditioner bracket, but the sides don't seal properly because of the window (duct tape and foam work beautifully to seal those gaps since it's not flush to the window frame). Bonus, since the sides aren't those cheap accordian styles as most ACs are, it works even better. Now on to the good stuff. I have NEVER known that an AC can run as quietly as this one! This thing is dang near silent! The only way I know it's clicking on to cool is that it vibrates. There's no need to turn the volume up on the TV to hear it over this thing! I'm seriously impressed. It cools super fast and keeps the bedroom at the exact temp you set it to, no matter how ungodly hot it gets outside. All previous ACs struggled with that. A little too humid when not cooling? Put it on Dry. Cool enough, but just want air flow? Fan mode. The Swing setting is wonderful as well. Setting up the app on the phone was a bit tricky as the instructions aren't very clear. Get the app up and running, and then when you get to hitting the Display 6 times, they mean the LED button on the remote, despite the instructions saying ECO button. Now, I have a bad memory, so if that isn't what gives you the 2 beeps to continue in the app, it's the ECO button on the AC unit itself. Try both because I can't remember clearly which one did the trick. Once the app is up and running, you can control it from anywhere! I work overnight shifts so I turn it off when I leave for work and while I'm at work in the morning I flip it on and the room is an ice box by the time I get home. Overall, this is by far the best AC unit I've ever had. Well worth the money, and as long as it gets me through this summer, it will be my go-to AC for future purchases.
