Rowenta Professional XL Ultimate Steam Iron, 1750 Watts, German Made, Dark Blue

The burst of steam is unbelievable, love it. I bought the iron mostly for quilting. It is a little heavier and like the other review said it's almost impossible to see the water level. But you can tell when an iron runs low on water. I don't feel it's a problem compared to the quality.

This is my second Rowenta iron. The quality is 5 stars. It has very powerful steam. In addition to ironing, I have used it to steam curtains and a shower curtain. My only slight complaint is the dark blue color as it makes it hard to see the water level.

Bought this for my husband who loves to iron everything in the world. He absolutely loved it.

Provides great steam which speeds up the work. I am very satisfied with the performance of this iron.o

Excellent iron! Heavy duty. Has plenty of steam holes. The only issue is that it's hard to see how much water you put in the tank . The color of the iron is too dark and you can't see where the water was filled up to. But I am very happy with the product and how it works!!

Like: (1) Temperature controls with options for high/low heat. Like: (2) Numerous holes for intense and focused steam. Like: (3) The (heavy) weight of the iron. Dislike: Water tank is TOO dark, The dark blue color of the water tank makes it so the water level cannot be seen - even when held up to a light or shining a flashlight on the reservoir. A nuisance and my reason for one less star.

Rowenta irons are the only way to go. I have a problem with this one though! The water window is a dark blue and I find it almost impossible to see my water line. I'm constantly overflowing it. If I could change one thing about Rowenta irons it would be to make those windows clear! Otherwise this is a super iron!!

Too soon to rate item, shipping was fast, tank extremely dark be careful filling. Other 5 rowenta send up leaking water on clothing after 1 year warranty.

Looks like they sent me the floor display. Scratched and the labeling printed on the product is all but rubbed off. Not happy after spending almost $100. I want to return it, but I couldn't find this brand iron made in Germany anywhere else. Now they say designed in Germany made in ...

The iron itself works well. Only one small problem....you can't see how much water is in the iron. So, if they have a different model that is lighter in color and you can actually tell, then get that one. Otherwise, buy something different. For that reason alone, I wish I hadn't bought it.
