(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This iron is great! The vertical steam function is so powerful and worked really well, once I figured out how to use it. I used it to steam my daughter's winter coat that was wrinkled after it was hang dried. The steam that comes out of it horizontally is impressive too. It was so easy to use. It activated once I started ironing. I checked online and found it is pretty pricey, but I'd say it's worth the functionality! It is also so sleek looking, light and smooth to use. Ironing is way more fun now! My favourite iron to date (5th one I've used).

It has easy to adjust temp controls, heavy duty yet lightweight, sharp edges for detailing, powerful steam bursts, and a comfortable stiff cord that does not get in the way. It even has an auto shutoff incase you forget to unplug. The only thing that I would improve is make it completely cordless.

I am impressed this iron is built for easy handling; it has a comfortable handle with a thumb rest. This is a light iron that provides good performance. It is a high watt iron at 1700 watts that heats up quickly and produces enough heat to generate an excellent amount of steam. the soleplate allows superior steam generation and distribution and it offers superiorglide on any fabric. The sharp precision tip is perfect for ironing around seams, collars, and the button areas. It is lightweight, very easy to fill with water, I love how smooth it glides, I also like that I can have my items hanging up and dont need to lay flat!! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It heats up quickly and the settings are very easy to follow. If there is a knock, it is in how the water tank fills. You have to fill it at an angle with very low pressure or you wind up sending water all over the iron. Beyond that there is nothing I would change.

It has a sleek design that doesn't hinder functionality. I've been using the same cheap iron for years that does an ok job.. but wow! The Rowenta iron worked really well and really quick at removing wrinkles from my husbands work shirts. I'm not a fan of ironing so anything that gets the job done fast and well is a must-have in my laundry room. The opening for filling the water is in a nice spot that's easy to access and fill. I also appreciate the way the lid clicks when securely closed. I am removing a star for the vertical steam option. The way it shoots out steam is pretty neat.. except it didn't remove any wrinkles. That ended up being a waste of time. Overall, I am happy with this iron and would recommend if you're looking to upgrade yours! Don't buy it for the vertical steam.. buy it for its powerful ironing results!

However, if I had to choose between this or an iron foe my shirts and blouses, an iron will do a better job, unfortunately. I thought it would be more compact but it is still quite large to travel with.
