ROYAL HARDBOUND 8.5X11 RICH SKETCHBOOK 8 PIECE PDQ

I'm pretty picky about the texture of my sketch paper. I've been into sketching as form of therapy for myself since I was a kid. So I know my way around some paper lol this one has some good texture. The pencil stuck to it well and blending/shading was easy and didn't dust off or look smeared if that makes sense. I would recommend it! *the pic isn't finished. Don't judge me!*

I really enjoyed this hardcover book. TBH, I didn't expect much from hardcover, as it is difficult to keep the pages from flipping on you. This book isn't so bad. It is bound perfectly. The paper is smooth to draw on and it looks great. I use Graphite mostly, but I'm in love with the charcoal...I look forward to doing more with it

I love this book, it just started falling apart but i use a lot. The book is big and it comes with plentiful thick paper so the price is really worth it compared to the other companies.️

The quality of this sketchbook was better than expected. The pages are a nice weight for using in the book or tearing out for single pages. The texture is perfect for sketching.

Ok firstly, the texture of this paper is everything. If you're into sketching then you know what I'm talking about. The texture has to be just right if you want good shading and dimension. The pencil kit is great too! It includes everything you need to create a good picture! I especially love that it includes some charcoals and a shader.

I love this sketchbook! It's a great size, and the paper is really pleasant to draw on, and it's not flimsy/ thin paper, it's almost as thick as printer paper, but has a slightly different feel to it. The sketchbook isn't too sturdy as the front cover is basically paper and the back cover is cardboard, so I don't take it anywhere, but I don't mind it. It's still a very nice sketchbook that I enjoy using, and since it has a lot of pages, it will definitely last me a while.

I really enjoyed using this sketchbook, the cover is very sturdy so I'm able to easily sketch in the car or on my lap. The paper is slightly textured, but not so much that it interferes with your drawings. The color of the paper is a slight cream color, so it's not bright white. The paper is also a bit on the thicker side, but it's night because using a pen doesn't bleed through the paper. Overall I'd use it again! I received this product as part of a free sampling project!

I think this is a great sketchbook for those who want to experiment with different kinds of mediums. The paper is good for pencils and can handle ink. I've used watercolors on it and it's held up. Some negatives: Pages warp, markers bleed, it's a bit large for travel. But it has not ripped on me and the cover has not been damaged. I've had this for about 8 months and it's lasted me. Usually i'm working on more than one drawing at a time, i feel comfortable just flipping back to the page and continuing or making something new because of the amount of space that's provided with the book and the amount of pages. The pages are an off white that provide a hue for giving highlights and blending things to create value. Recommend to those who want to keep creating, even if you're not a professional. You have plenty of pages to explore whatever style or medium you want to use.

Overall they are a decent product. When it comes the sketching with pencils and charcoal they are fine. However when using markers/pens the ink doesn't soak into the paper so it will transfer. If you don't plan on I don't either I would definitely recommend this product. *** I was given these product for free for my honest review.
