Most of these are opaque and dark colors. The chisel tip is precise . They covered well adding detail on top of already painted wood.. the chiseled edge did seem a little sensitive about keeping both edges of the nib touching down. It had to be held at just the right angle or else one side would easily lift up and stop writing, which made it hard at times to get a consistent line edge.. which might just be a typical issue with many calligraphy pens …idk. Also,, the very tip of the chisel on few markers seemed to fray ever so slightly which was never even an issue except for a couple times when I was being incredibly precise with detail work,. These things might be typical and overall I like these. I have used them for a couple months now and would buy them again.

For generic, they work suprisingly well...very vivid

I like many things about this set. The colors are great. I love the tips that you can change depending on your use. What I really really dislike is how little paint is actually in them. They run our really quickly. If you have something of any size greater than 2"X2", you likely will run out before you are done. I did. On two different ones. One did even less than the first one. Disappointed in that greatly. I love the idea and the colors, I just wish there was more paint in them.

The primary colors especially the red looks orange They dont last long snd you have to dpply several costs.

It wasn't what I thought it would be. The gel was thicker than I hoped for.

these markers were clearly used before I purchased them the silver marker was actually black n one was missing a tip
