Royal & Langnickel Essentials Acrylic Paint - Scarlet Lake, 120ml

I haven't used this yet and I am new to acrylics but it was a reasonable price for the amount of paint I got

I love the way it blends and the price is great!

Simply put...it is such a joy in creating with Royal & Langnickel's beautifully, vibrant acrylic paints! I had the pleasure of using their Essentials Acrylic Paint Tube in Raw Umber that was uniquely stunning! Not only because of the visible beauty to the eyes, but also because of the optimal quality & application that comes along with using these acrylic paints. The pigmentation of this acrylic paint was remarkable! With that being said, it was just as easy to mix the paint with a little water to get a softer application that was quite lovely as well! In addition, the Essentials Acrylic Paint Tube in Raw Umber was super easy to work with thanks to its luxuriously, thick & creamy texture that allowed for a seamlessly, smooth painting experience. It didn't matter which type of brush stroke technique was used, I got the same experience every time, because of the amazing formula! Also, I used Royal & Langnickel's Essentials Acrylic Paints on a few different surfaces and textures. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the acrylic paints consistently performed across-the-board! As if that weren't enough, this particular formula mixed with ease and dried down without compromising the impressive pigment & vibrancy it yielded while wet! Wow!! It truly doesn't get any better than that in terms of acrylic paints! Needless to say, I can't wait to get my hands on more colors from the Essentials Collection!!

With painting as a hobby, I was happy to find this paint option. The paint has a rich and vibrant color and goes onto paper smoothly. The thick, rich texture makes it easy to use less to produce the shading I want. I love that it maintains its vibrancy when dry and does not show brush lines. The tube makes it easy to control the amount of paint I'm dispensing, and it dries fairly quickly. No bad odors either. Overall, a great choice for artistic expression. This color is perfect for creating depth and dimension in my paintings, and the consistency of the paint is just right for my needs. It came in handy when I was painting a lifelike statue of my brown-ish colored dog! The paint goes on smooth and evenly. Plus it dries quickly which is great when I need to work on multiple layers. I also love the tube size that will last me for quite some time. The packaging is also great - the cap is secure and prevents the paint from drying out and the tube is easy to store and transport. Love it!

I wouldn't have normally chosen this color but I surprisingly liked using it more than I would have thought. The paint is easy to use and clean up after. Thr color is great on canvas and paper. The tube size is grear and even has a cap that let's me reuse it many times. There is a metal foil seal to keep it fresh until your ready to use it. Overall I was happy to use it as a beginner artist and would recommend the color and brand to others.

This acrylic paint remind me of Wood 🪵 literally the color was muddy, and deep. Very much a earth tone. A little goes a long way with this particular paint. I would love to purchase this paint in Yellow I can see myself making a lot of art blends with Earth brown, Sunny Yellow and Pink hue Skies

I wasn't quite sure what color to expect from raw umber, but it reminds me of the smudged color left behind in black bean paste. When it is concentrated, it almost looks black although it's still a brown black. When the paint is spread out, it shows the brown color better. I think using this from a tube is easier way to access paint than from open top bottles. It is a nice consistency.

The Essentials 120ml Acrylic Paint Tube - Umber is an average quality paint that I would use for practicing or better suited for kids. I like a tube where some part of it is clear so you can see the actual color, this one does not but the color is very close to what is on the outside of the tube. The flip top opens and closes easily and keep the paint from leaking or drying out. Also dispenses nicely, no overflow or mess. The paint is a bit thinner, I personally prefer it to be thicker. It does go on nicely and covers the canvas well. The dry time is average and there is no streaking after it dries and no shadowing. I received this for free in exchange for my honest review. It has not affected my opinion of the product
