ROYBI Robot

Fun and educational. Love it.

My 2 year granddaughter is learning Spanish, and this is a great gift to help her out with her learning. And it is very helpful so I may get one for myself.

First and foremost, my kids are not fluent in English, we decided to teach them our first language, knowing they will pick up English as they start school. So this robot was perfect for us. We dont allow screen time on weekdays and this is excellent for kids to interact with. It can be set to lower of more proficient English. The set up is super easy. It has its own app and you can control it from your phone. It speaks with a child's voice. It comes with three hats, and can face recognize the child or this step can be skipped if it makes a parent uncomfortable. We set it to English and i got to pick short lessons from the app for the kids to follow. For example, there is a lesson on continents and it tells the kids all the continents then asks them which one it is based on a picture it shows them. Simple, yet super practical. The kids repeat and learn it fast. It comes with 3 buttons each one the kids can press and either sing or learn something new. I think this is an excellent device to not only learn English but to learn different subjects as well. Plus it goes beyond simple things for preschoolers, as it divides the lessons based on subjects. My only suggestion for improvement would be to allow the kids to speak the answer sooner, the “mouth” sign which indicates that the child can now speak/answer comes up a bit late and by that time the child repeats the answer several times. Otherwise i think it is designed well, child friendly and seems to be build strong as toddlers due tend to drop it a lot haha. I would definitely recommend this to parents for their children.

This is... Different. Actually my son loves it. He attempted to take Roybi everywhere with him at first. I like how I can keep Roybi as an app to set up little lessons and games for my son. Sometimes he talks to Rpybi for an hour, its a very educational little robot. Last night it was teaching emotions and colors. It's one of those things I'm honestly still learning about theres so many features. I even love how you can change Roybis hat color. Very great educational little toy. Great for stimming. 10/10 def reccomend

My daughter seems to really enjoy using this robot, she likes that she talks to it and it understands her and so far has been responding pretty well on to it. So far we've just done the introduction programs and an animal program so I am hoping that she maintains interest because any learning toy that she would enjoy playing with is a positive in my book. The robot is quite easy to set up, you do have to download an app on your phone and that is how you control the lessons and make the robot work, for young children obviously a parent needs to start and stop the lessons. My daughter has language and speech issues and so far this robot has been able to understand her for the most part which is actually kind of impressive. Seems to be working well so far I hope it continues, the robot is very Interactive

Having 3 boys from 13 months to 6 years old, I thought it would be beneficial having this unique tool that is fun and educating. Especially for my 3.5 year old, who attends preschool and currently in Russian class. He usually catches up on English from his older brother who is in Kindergarten but I really wanted an off screen that's still educational for him. That's when I discovered Roybi Robot. It's fun, adventurous, and educational. Extremely easy to set up and allows the child to personalize it with a fun hat (3 to choose from orange, green and blue). My son immediately loved that he was able to talk to his robot and they introduced each other. He loved the songs, stories, and talking to the robot. Throughout the short duration he was picking up words. A couple of improvements that I would suggest after observing and testing this product. First, it asks for a picture of my child and voice recognition but my child found it frustrating that whenever his siblings would speak the robot would respond or keep going through the program. The 5 minute lessons seemed a bit short for a 3.5 year old, he would easily get frustrated and say "that's it?". The app has a limited number of lessons, additional I would have to buy. I love that it has mandarin to learn but I wish it had other languages as options as well, such as Russian, Spanish, French. The charging dock that comes with a robot, you must have it on the dock in order for the child to get the lesson or use it as a keypad to select what they like or don't like, and play a lesson. My 3.5 year old and 6 year old would get frustrated and ask me why they can't just take the robot off and go to their room to listen. I do wish it was wireless and not constantly placing it on the charger. This robot is ideal for 3 to 5 years old, although the lessons need to be more advanced and longer duration. Overall, the idea behind this robot is truly remarkable but I do think it could use a lot of improvements. I would still recommend it, as someone else may have a different experience than I did.

A great little learning toy for kids. My 5yr so far likes it once he got used to it. We like all the activities it offers and parents have the options to personalize lessons for them to learn. Face recognition works great but voice recognition doesn't always work when my son responds back. He loves walking with ROYBI while doing his lesson plan lol. Easy App download & set up. During this Pandemic is great interaction since he's the only child. With over 500 lessons it should keep him busy. Overall it's a great teaching assistant.

My four young daughters are loving their ROYBI Robot. this learning robot is so cool. It both engages and teaches my kids, and lets me track it on my phone via an app. ROYBI is bilingual and comes with over 500 lessons. It teaches math, science, geography, language, communication and many, many, many more. It's fun watching how engaged my girls while playing with ROYBI. They have that awesome look of wonder, and you can almost see their thirst for knowledge, that I hope they never lose. Every day they actually ask to play with their robot, sometimes I think they have so much fun playing with him that they forget they're learning. The app is easy to download and it's easy to sync it to ROYBI. My only complaint is that the app only gives you the option to enter the information for one child, and I have four children, and the two youngest are twins. There's a feature where you enter a picture of your child and ROYBI will recognize your child's face, so it would be nicer if I could do that for all my kids. However, it doesn't take away from all the good that this robot provides.

Roybi is a very nice high tech interactive toy robot. This toy Robot comes with 3 changeable hats ( green, blue and orange). It also comes with a charging stand (that doubles as a control for the robot to listen to music or for the robot to read to your child and one for the lessons) , a charger usb, a charger adapter, 2 black camera covers (mini suction cup), an instruction guide, and a cute certificate of adoption. You do have to download an app for set up and it takes less than 10 minutes to set up your account. It has free lessons or you can purchase them. You have to turn on the robot in order to fully navigate on the app. The on/off button Is on the bottom of the right leg. The only two languages I saw were English and Mandarin. To set up it asks your child's information in order to be able to interact with fully with your child ( name,gender, birthday). It says it is for ages 3and up but to be honest only if your child is fully committed into learning because I have a 5 year old that got bored after 5 minutes. The concept is good but I feel like they could have done better with the lessons for smaller kids. Overall good concept but definitely needs improvement for it to appeal to kids from 3-5.

When this robot arrived me and my little one was so excited to learn what Roybi had to offer. We where excited to learn different languages and all that this robot has to offer. This robot use a mobile app for activating and it's kind of difficult, but I managed to get through it. After activation it ask for a picture of your child to Recognize your child's face and it's also ask for your child's voice to recognize that as well. When using, we noticed that it's kind of slow in response. And it also didn't recognize my child's voice as much as it promotes. The reason for the two stars is because it's so slow And after so long a child gets frustrated. It's a no from me
