This comes as a two-pack, which I appreciate because having a spare muzzle is one of those things you don't think about until you need one. The mesh front is lightweight and breathable, and there is enough room around the nose that my dog doesn't look like his mouth is being smashed shut.
There are several adjustment points, which helped me get a much better fit around his head than I expected. The buckle also has a locking feature. There's a little sliding mechanism right on the buckle that locks it closed, which is a particularly nice safety feature on something you REALLY don't want accidentally popping open.
One word of advice: pay attention to which way you put it on! I initially put the darn thing on upside down and couldn't understand why it looked so strange. User error. Once I flipped it around, everything suddenly sat where it was supposed to. I included photos of both orientations in case it saves someone else from doing the same thing.
The straps are highly adjustable, the reflective stitching is a nice touch, and the red mesh makes it easy to see how the muzzle is sitting on my black dog. I also like that this style doesn't look nearly as intimidating as some of the heavy cage-style muzzles.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the construction and adjustability. Just remember… red mesh goes on TOP. Apparently my dog and I had to learn that one together.
