I absolutely love my water bottle. The quality is outstanding. The color was exactly as pictured. It’s the perfect size, lightweight and easy to carry. I love the texture of the bottle as it has just a little bit of texture so it doesn’t slip out of your hand easily. The handle is securely attached. I hooked it to my backpack, using a carabiner and it lasted a 3 mile hike no problem. I only wish the drinking spout was slightly bigger.
Certainly the best water bottle/tumbler we've ever had. My family has purchased dozens - from all brands. I cannot tolerate the taste or smell of metal when drinking water or coffee, so I've not been a party to this generation of drinkware. The RTIC ceramic lining is the most significant feature I've seen from any of the major brands! Kudos on allowing the pure taste of water or coffee to remain - without tasting or smelling metal. Thank you for a great product.
I got two of these on sale. The 32oz is decent for an "around town" water bottle but if you're going hiking, out on the boat, etc. You may want to grab the 40oz or half gallon. I love the ceramic lining, i really can tell a difference in taste. The cap/lid is not great for large, fast power chugs but the tradeoff is, it is leakproof and easy to use with one hand. Also, i can hang it from a carabiner via the silicon handle. All in all, great water bottle.
The product itself seems fine. We did find that they have a bit of an odor, but we think it's because they are new. There was no adverse taste. I got the Periwinkle, as the picture showed it as more of a light blue color. However, it is more of a Lavender than light blue. Not being a fan of purple and it's many shades I was a bit disappointed with this. Overall, I would say it is a good product.
top sweats
Sorry, it has a really strong chemical smell. I washed it several times, forced myself to drink from it several times, the smell won't go away. Not sure why it's got this coating now, I preferred the non-coated metal bottle and thought that's what I was purchasing again here. I don't think I'll be using it again, but it's past the return date because I wanted to give it a long time to allow for the smell to dissipate.
Perfect size for transporting the morning coffee to work, fits under the coffee maker just right. Only problem is the design of the lid. The coffee runs down the side of the lid and bottle when pouring coffee into a mug. Makes a mess. . . I have to remove the lid to pour out coffee which is a bit inconvenient.
The bottle itself is great, keeps things cold without sweating all over. Rugged and durable (has been dropped a few times with no major issues). Doesn’t fit in any cup holders (either too tall or too wide or both). I figured it wouldn’t fit in cup holders…not a bottle issue but more of a vehicle issue. Since it doesn’t fit in any cup holders it is usually thrown in a seat or bag… the lid is NOT designed to be thrown in a bag or in the seat, the top opens too easily spilling contents out. Would rate 5 stars if there were different lid options with a more secure (screw top) closing.
Was very disappointed, bought this style to avoid spills in my bag only to have the mouth piece leak even when fully closed. When I reached out to the company, they want me to send them pictures?? Pictures of what, how is thst helpful - Do you think I'm making it up?
I have quite a few older RTIC 32 oz bottles that I have loved and hoped these would be the similar. Unfortunately they are not, lids are cheap plastic and not interchangeable with the older style or other brand bottles. I does not last long at very mild temperature. I have bought children's bottles that hold ice longer. I have multiple RTIC coolers that are great, will not buy any water bottles moving forward.
