Filled ice in the cooler halfway on Monday afternoon and the ice was still there on Wednesday afternoon. Melted by Thursday. I think would have lasted even longer if I had filled the cooler completely with ice. I would definitely buy this again!
Good size cooler and perfect for our travel needs. I love having a cooler with drain plugs and keeps things nice and cold!
Great little cooler, kept ice for 24hrs! Strapped it on the back of a side by side using the strap kit from RTIC and it didn't budge all day. Hesitant at first simply dur to the cost, but this was a quality over quantity purchase and I'm glad I made the right choice.
I have been a fan of RTIC for years because I refuse to pay yeti prices especially since I had better experiences with RTIC versus yeti because I had yeti's i had won in raffles and what not so ive been able to compare side by side and the RTIC is just as good and sometimes better than yeti at sometimes half the price.
The cooler is wonderful! The personalization is great. Not sure how it's done but it seems permenantly bonded to the cooler and won't come off. The 2 mugs are very nice. The 30 ozz cup is air tight and doesn't leak at all but does create an airlock when drinking from straw and you can only get a few sips before having to release to break seal.
My husband is a heavy equipment operator, bulldozer specifically. Whatever cooler he has must withstand beatings, dragging & all day in the full & hot southern sun. So far this has done great! It's keeping all his work beverages cold all day long. We use what I refer to as the fake ice that's refreezable & it lasts all day if he is working. If he is home & the cooler sits unopened in our shady yard the ice stays frozen for up to 2 days so far. The big test comes when full summer hits us but so far the cooler is great!
I recently moved into my van and bought this cooler to keep food during my travels. I did my research: watched videos, read reviews, looked into product specs; you know, all the things. This cooler is second only to Yeti and just barely second at that. I was highly excited to sport my new RTIC cooler! I found out very quickly that it won't hold ice. It should hold ice for 5-6 days. I'm lucky if I get 6 hrs. I am constantly draining water and adding more ice. So, so incredibly disappointing. I would love to speak with someone from RTIC about this. I was so excited to get this cooler. Please. Send. Help!
I was so excited to use my new cooler, I filled it with ice and drinks and loaded it into the back of my car as soon as I got it. Headed to the beach and it was fantastic. I ended up leaving it In my car overnight because I didn't feel like bringing it inside. I came out the following afternoon to see my cooler in a pool of water in my backseats. The cooler was leaking from the drain plug and it soaked my backseats, ruined some paperwork I had on my seat and ruined my power bank that was sitting on the back seat next to the cooler.
This product looks ridged and durable I like it so far but it doesn't preserve ice for 5 days. I don't know it might be because I keep it all the time inside a hot car in the summer and gives me maximum of 3 full days. It condensate a lot around both drain valves.
I unsubcribed from RTIC but they sent this survey anyway. I never post bad reviews but. . . the cooler did not stay cold despite following instructions - pre chill items, pre chill cooler with ice, dont open much, latch it closed. Only thing we couldn't do is keep in the shade as we were driving in the desert. Ice melted completely 1st day. We had to throw away alot of food. I'm disappointed I paid this much money. It didn't perform any better than our cheap Igloo cooler.
