I'm more than happy with the RTIC product I have 3 back packs 3 bottles for my kis to carry water for sports for about 4 years and still the same no liking back packs for my personal use holds the ice for about 3 days 😀 😊 the bottles I use the recent one to carry hot water and holds the hot 🔥 for more than 10 hours it my be because it is new but so happy 😊 I will be posting a video 📹 when using hot 🔥 water I highly recommend this product hopefully I can get a good discount on my next purchase 😊
This is our second Outback Jug. We were very happy with the first one yet pleased at the changes & improvements we didn't even know were needed. The silicone base is a nice addition, and the grip handle is improved as well (that is what wore out on the first one). Perfect for drinking water throughout the work day. Definitely recommend!
I have been using the RTIC one gallon jug for a few weeks now. I am hard on stuff (arborist) and whatever I bring to work needs to tolerate being tossed into trucks and tool bins. So far the jug is holding up well. No major dents or scratches. The coating seems reasonably tough - probably about the same is the Yti bottles. I have both. The RTIC jug keeps water cold for the whole day with a bit of ice. I previously had a 1/2 gallon RTIC jug and it held up well too - but then made substantial improvements with the new design. The foam on the bottom of the new one is really nice. Keeps the jug from rattling in the truck and prevents the jug from sliding around. The wide mouth is good. I think the old design had a smaller opening. Last, I like the handle on the new design. The material seems much more robust. Very happy with my purchase, and even happier I got a fun color on sale.
This think works great! I was a little skeptical of the lid staying secure initially but it has been totally leak proof and sturdy. The ceramic coating on the inside is a nice touch, I brought this on our trip to Florida for 10 days and it was the MVP of the trip.
A perfect addition to my RTIC collection. I drink a gallon of water each day and this jug allows me to bring my good filtered water from home and not share the community filtered water at work. People put their mouths on their water bottles to drink. When they refill them they put the part of the bottle they had their mouth on against the handle that activates the water. Gross! My new RTIC keeps my water cold all day long and I love the ceramic lining. It's the closest thing to glass for being non-reactive. I can add some sliced lemon or lime to the water and the flavor does not change. So glad I found this.
I've been a long time fan and customer of RTIC products. I had the old 1/2 gallon jug that has the styrofoam insulation. I bought the newer bottle with a ceramic liner so I can wash it in the dishwasher for convenience. This bottle sweats, and does not keep ice nearly as long as the older bottle. Is mine defective?
I really like this water bottle. The ceramic interior is great for keeping the water tasting good, the insulation keeps liquids cool, and it's giant size means I don't run out of water. I also love the fact that it is customizable. My only suggestion would be changing the lid desgn. The smaller drinking cap on top of the lid has come out of the rubber loop once already so some more security for that cap would be good. Also, the cap is quite smooth so it can be hard to unscrew it after it is screwed on; it would be great if there was some sort of texture that helps you grip the cap better. All in all it's a good product for a reasonable price.
I love the water bottle, but I got this one to replace my previous water bottle that lost the vacuum insulation from being dropped over the years. The lid for the rtic is covered in condensation and doesnt hold ice any better than the one it was supposed to replace
The one gallon water jug is average. The lid however is subpar. It is not a insulated lid and was so beat up that pieces of plastic were peeling off the inside edge. This is of either poor quality or poor inspections before assembly. I am currently not using this jug.
I've been using these water bottles since 2018 or 19. Keep ice if you put enough in. I had to figure out how much ice so that it would melt halfway thru the hot summer day and stay cold but not too cold till I finished my first gallon. Yes carrying 2 gallon jugs and drinking one and half. After 7-8 years I'm replacing them with a 1/2 gallon and 1 gallon jug. The new ones feel better built and fixed some flaws of the old ones.
