RTIC Journey 20 oz Insulated Ceramic Lined Water Bottle, Mistletoe

Yes this keeps the water cold for a while. And I now can't buy another steal insulated water bottle that's not ceramic coated inside. Perfect size for drinking water at home. I got a second cuz they were on sale after Xmas colors. If they go on sale again, I hope I grab one.

I call him 'Scotty the Scotchman'! I don't think these ceramic-lined vessels work better than the stainless steel......and to me there is no taste difference......but it's fun to try them out and compare!

This water bottle is excellent- a day later there was still ice. Love it.

Got this for my son to use in high school. He wasn't drinking water much during the day because he said he didn't like how the water tasted metallic from his SS water bottle. He's now finishing the whole bottle and says the water tastes fresh & crisp & clean like water should.

I haven't owned a bottle that is anywhere near as good as this one. The idea of the ceramic lining the inside is genius. No musty smell or foul taste. The performance is fantastic keeping my purified water beautifully ice cold. I'm never faced with a warm beverage. Great job folks , I proudly tote this bottle with me everywhere everyday. Thanks for making a great product .

Keeps my water perfect for long adventures, narrow so it fits backpack and golf bag pockets as well as car holder. Nice capacity, though I have two, and great colors to choose from. Definitely has become the main character in my crowded water bottle cabinet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the RTIC Soft Touch Journey Bottle for the gym, and I really like it! It's easy to carry around, the soft-touch finish feels really nice in my hand, and it holds a good amount of water so I'm not constantly having to refill it during my workout. I also love that it has a sleek, simple look without feeling bulky. Definitely a great everyday water bottle, especially if you're always on the go or heading to the gym!

The design is nice because it's leak proof. The quality, not so much. I've owned several Rtic and felt they were just as good as a Yeti, often times, better. This 20 oz cup does not stay cold for very long. In the house, the ice melts rapidly. Within 2 hrs, the ice is almost melted. Not sure if the ceramic coating has something to do with it. On the pro side, I can use larger ice cubes from a standard ice tray.

My daughter loves this water bottle for school. She was able to customize it the way she wanted to and everything looks great. I was thinking of buying a 26oz for when I golf. Unfortunately the inside of the bottle has a very strong odor and taste. I've tried multiple times to soak the inside with a baking soda and water mix, along with a vinegar and water mix with very minimal success because the smell keeps coming back. The claim of ceramic lining protecting from this is incorrect. Such a shame for a good looking and functioning product.
