very nice, looked at one in store but it was a color I wouldn't want, so ordered 2 from app, one for my wife in Teal Blue, one for me in Navy Blue. we drink RO water from system at home, and wanted to carry a refill supply in our vehicles. I travel to remote Transmitter sites and having water is a must.
I have been using this to get me through Hay season. 80-90 degree days in the sun covered in hay dust, a nice cool drink goes a long way. Fill it up with water and some ice, toss it under a tree and I have enough for what I get done in a day. Not bad to keep in the truck as a backup you can forget about. The flap top should be a magnet, its annoying. The paint scratches off after bouncing around the back of the atv, not sure what can be done about that tho realistically. Would buy again.
The ceramic lining is great. Love that it doesn't taste like metal. Only minor issue is the cap. The edges are so smooth that it can be a little difficult to close tightly or to be sure that it is closed well. A ribbed edge or gear-shaped cap would be easier.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've owned a lot of insulated bottles over the years, including Hydro Flask, and the RTIC One Gallon Outback Jug is easily my favorite. The ceramic-lined interior keeps my water tasting fresh, and the insulation keeps drinks cold all day, even in the heat. I also love the leak-proof lid, sturdy handle, and the wide opening that makes it easy to fill with ice and clean. For my daily routine, the one-gallon capacity means fewer refills, which is a huge convenience. Between the durability, performance, and value for the price, I personally prefer it over any Hydro Flask bottle I've used. If you're looking for an insulated jug that can handle long workdays, workouts, or outdoor adventures, this one is hard to beat.
i like the coating because sometimes stainless steel make my throat itch. one gallon is a heavy with water. i dont know it a good ideas to put the carry handle on a cap or not bc it's doesn't feel like to be last . feel like if carry too much the plastic cap will break off where the handle hook into… it can be like that half gallon or fews oz ok but with one full gallon it's such a weight right there.
Great quality, size is perfect and fits in the fridge where my other one wouldn't. Ceramic lining is a great option as you don't get the metallic taste.
I like this jug, but being that it holds a gallon worth of liquid I just wish it had a straw because it's heavy when full. For that reason I'm actually considering returning this jug to purchase one that does have a straw. Other than that it's a good jug, keeps drink cold, ice doesn't melt and the grip on the handle is super comfortable.
The weight of a gallon of water combined with the materials and construction of the lid, I've had the water bottle fall twice while holding the bottle by the handle. Now as I attempted to tighten the lid, it only gets somewhat tight before twisting through the threads.
I put ice and water in the jug for work. Within 10 hours all the ice was completely gone and the water was room temperature at best. NOT the "stays cold for 24 hours" that the description claims for sure.
This is the second gallon jug I’ve purchased and again, the handle snapped off with minimal effort. I DO NOT recommend buying this jug. Spend the extra money and buy an Igloo or Stanley.
