I bought six. One for every downspout. Im having professionals adjust my pipes and used concrete wall blocks ( ) for stands. Already amazing rain collection from small rain events here in the arid southwest.

I painted this to match my front door. Teal. The only negativity is I was not aware that the top where the water flows into is for a gutter . Very few people in Arizona do gutters on their homes. I set mine up where the water flows off the roof in the V of the flashing. Works well because it filled in about ten minutes.

Very simple to assemble the 2 spouts. Simple to use and very solidly made. I may have to get another...

The 50 gallon flat back brass spigot rain barrel, oak color, is awesome. It is a well made quality product. This item actually exceeded my expectations. The product arrived quickly and was packaged well with no damage. My husband stated it was easy for him to install without any difficulty. I like this product so much that I am planning on buying another and it looks so nice in our yard.

Bought 2, connected overflow stubs with a foot of 1 inch vinyl tubing from HD, works well. Only complaint is like several other reviewers, the spigot was difficult to insert even laying barrel flat, because the plastic threads don't line up well with the metal spigot, requires wrench to tighten, cannot use Teflon tape easily either because it screws in somewhat askew. When all said and done it looks good, both barrels filled up completely in recent rain, but one spigot is leaking slightly around insertion point when barrel is full. That's only negative part I have to say.

It was advertised to come with a brass spigot, but no spigot was enclosed. That was disappointing. It would have been nice, too, if there were more colors available -- we have 3 others in a deep brown, and we were hoping to find a color that matched more closely.

spigot leaks. I've tried everything to stop the leak. It appears that when the hole was drilled the drill dug into one side creating a leak. Didn't have rain once I had installed it until after the date to return it.

I bought the expensive stand that goes with the barrel. After our first rain filled it, I hooked up a hose and nothing came out. It had NO pressure. I tried siphoning the hose and a little came out but it shuts off when I raise the hose knee high. I wanted to water my plants on my deck and back porch. I’m going to try to rig up something taller. I’m sure that will take away the esthetics. I am so disappointed.

Received my RTS 50 gal flat back this a.m (Saturday 4/15/23). Opened box and immediately knew something was wrong! Removed barrel from box to find package containing parts/instructions already opened with parts scattered inside barrel. Ahh, ok. Then, I found the spigot hole to be completely destroyed with no chance of even considering threading spigot in. Hole was void of material needed to thread spigot in. Was completely destroyed!! Quality control??? Will be calling on Monday since rts is closed on Saturday’s.

bottom leaks and the spicket just keeps turning and leaks. water doesnt come out of hose unless its flat on the ground.
