This step stool is very sturdy. Each of the steps is covered in rubber and wide enough to make me feel secure . It may not be the lightest stepstool but it's very manageable. As an older woman I have no complaints

I love this step stool. We are repainting the insider our home. This is very sturdy, gets me up high enough to reach the ceiling with no wobble. Easy to fold and take from room to room. We just installed to the ceiling cabinets. This is the perfect height to get the not often used items off the top shelf. I use it everyday!

works great and very sturdy. I will say don't get it shipped..they didnt even put it in a box. just clear plastic wrap with a label on..and it was torn...so the handle is all marked up and i have a bunch of scuffs on it. luckily it wasn't broken from what I can see.

This is a very sturdy and well-made ladder. When folded, it is quite compact, measuring 48" high x 15.5" wide x 2" deep. The distance from the floor to the top step is 28.5". I used a rickety old wooden ladder for years. I should have bought this one a long time ago.

The stool was delayed 3 times before being delivered for no reason but once I got it . I was very satisfied. My husband is older and i wanted him to have something sturdy to use and this step ladder is perfect as he can lean on the handles for security. Makes me feel safe for him anyway.

Very sturdy!!! I am so terrified of heights that just the second step of a step ladder and I feel nervous and sick to my stomach. This thing is so solid and steps wide enough that this is not an issue for me now. Got a feeling this thing is gonna be around for years.

Love this step stool. I have a 2 step that just didn't quite work for all tasks since I'm 5'2". Even standing on the top step they seem sturdy (although I hope not to have to use it often). The steps are a bit heavier, as expected, than my 2 step ladder but manageable. I like the lock that secures the step stool in open position when using it and is easy to release and fold when finished.They seem well built andI think these will last a long time.

Recently retired and this was purchased for our new "cottage". I wanted something that would fold up flat and out of the way. I hate to admit that for many years I have used a kitchen chair to reach up to shelves, clean, etc. and know that going forward I need to be more careful as I age. This is sturdy, well made, has a handle to hang on to and should allow me to do what I need to do and do it safely!

It seems really sturdy It's surprisingly heavy tho. I actually got it to put my new computer projector on. I could definitely have gotten away with something lighter weight and easier to carry around, but it's ok. I might use it to climb on as well. I'm adding a photo, so you can see how high the top step is in comparison with an ordinary dining room chair -- about 14" higher.

Good stool BUT steps are smaller and closer together, so be careful when stepping down.... I almost fell a few times because the steps are in closer and not like normal steps. The unit is very sturdy as well as heavy, so if you don't want a heavy step stool, this isn't the one you should purchase.
