Rubbermaid 48 Gallon Black Action Packer Lockable Storage Box Tote, Single

This Rubbermaid tote is used for work and is rugged and durable, I've used them on my other work truck on the sides out in the elements and they've held up well. I like the latches to secure the contents while on the road.

These action packers are so handy for camping, storage, car travel, organizing, etc... They lock well with the clips on both ends. We bought the 4 pack for our kids for Christmas and got a better deal. We plan to fill them with fun gifts, but I suspect they will like the container the best.

I had two 30-year old ActionPackers. One has been in my pick-up truck since I got it. It is great for things that need protection from rain and snow. I just bought a third one because the hinges on the one in the truck finally feel apart after 30 years of abuse. The box has out lasted 4 trucks!

Hands down the best tote for the camping and rafting that I have come across. What ever the size for one's needs, the ActionPacker does the job keeping essential gear organized and readily available. Add a few strips of two sided tape foam to the inside of lip of the top, and voila, pretty darn water proof.

One of the few totes that holds up to the elements and heavy use of our industry. Constantly exposed to all weather and not handled gently at all and it remains durable. Wish the interior was wider at the top. Product advertised as wide enough for what I needed, but the interior lip at the top makes the top narrower and I wasn't aware of this. Now I have to turn our hepa vac sideways then turn it upright once it's through the top.

This box will suit my needs. I use it for a dock box at my marina. It is a little lighter construction than I was expecting. But considering a fiberglass dock box is $500-$600 this is a pretty good deal. Not sure how long the plastic latch is going to last but it should be easy enough to replace with a metal hasp.

Its sturdy and will last forever and works as advertised. However, the bottom isn't flat inside. On the ends by the handles I have these 4x4 inch raised up spots on the bottom from the molding process which makes it difficult to pack stuff flat in there and not have it tip around. I tried to warm it up with a heat gun and push it down but its some tuff material and Im making it look worse. If your a perfectionist and little things bother you, I wouldn't recommend.
