Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid 2.5 Gallon Rectangle Food Storage Container

It's really difficult to get the size of an item from a picture but this was perfect size, flip it upside down and the lid holds a sheet cake, covers it perfectly with the bottom.

I plan on ordering BUT I'm hoping it's the size 2.5 gallons as described above the item because the product details and specifications are completely different. By other reviews I believe it is the 2.5 gallon and that the product details and specs are incorrect. As far as quality and satisfaction, I love the container and have one but need another.

This is perfect for storing the salad greens I eat every day-I keep the chopped veggies in smaller containers and put the greens in this one. I looked everywhere for one large enough with a lid that sealed well-this is it!

I cannot think of anything negative to say about these RubberMaid containers. They keep my food fresh in the refrigerator; I can store either cooked or raw food in them; I can take them out of the fridge and plop them right into the microwave to be heated up (not this particular model, of course, since it's too big to fit in the microwave). These containers have solved any problems I ever had with food storage.

I tossed a 320g Boveda pack, and a digital hygrometer found elsewhere here, in a few of these to use them as tupperdores. This series is sturdier and keeps a tighter seal than Rubbermaid's Take-alongs series.

This container is huge. I love it! I can now make a salad and store it in 1 container instead of 4 containers to feed the 10 people coming for Thanksgiving!

So happy I have these they are very sturdy and quality made. I bake starting Thanksgiving then freeze the cookies. This is a perfect Huge 2.5 Gallon container with a tight sealing lid to keep everything fresh. Was searching for Lock

LOVE the item itself. Perfect for storing / transporting larger size / quantities of food to family gatherings and such. Bought it SPECIFICALLY because I wanted something a bit nicer that foil (which doesn't have a sealable lid) or disposable plastic (which looks cheap)….but, now 5)4 idea of “give it a quick rinse and load it up” is out the window! Monstrous labels slathered on 3 of 4 sides, stuck on with some kind of apocalypse-withstanding adhesive!!!! Really??! I've washed and rinsed. And washed and rinsed multiple times….land peeled and rubbed and wiped….and have three of the most icky, sticky spots on there sides of the container. at least if there was a gummed-on label on the FOURTH SIDE, too, it would like like an abstract design element. Come on, Rubbermaid, I'm certain on a $9 “better” quality item, you can afford some EASILY PEELABLE label!!!

The container is much larger than I expected. I cannot use anything that large. Walmart may be able to compete with Amazon for delivery but Amazon has Walmart beat when it comes to returns. Unable to get to Walmart to return container which is why I shop online. I do not appreciate the fact that because I cannot get to the store, I am now stuck with the product.

I liked the capacity, but getting the lid on was almost impossible! I know they want a tight fit . . . but when it takes longer to get thr lid on than it does to fill, that is not good! I came close several times to spilling. I kept the one I used and returned the other two. I'm looking for a more "user friendly" unit. I think I found one---just not this!
