I am in a small studio apartment with not much horizontal space, but a lot of vertical space, as the ceilings are very high. these shelves are perfect to take advantage of all that space. not difficult to assemble, but make sure you have a good Phillips screwdriver.

I love this shelving unit! It took me (an old retired gal) quite a while to assemble because of all the connecting parts. BUT! It was such a great purchase since it's designed to be, and is, extremely sturdy. I'm using it for shoe %26 boots, gets them off my closet floor and under my bed. It'll last forever!!! You can't ever go wrong with Rubbermaid products.

This compact 4 shelf unit is great for small spaces yet holds a lot! It is the second one I purchased to use in a long narrow closet to store seasonal decorations. The first one stores “ extra” paper goods, soap, canned goods etc that don't fit in my small kitchen. They are lightweight but sturdy and easily put together.

This shelving unit is sturdy and the size is perfect for what I needed. However, I was really disappointed to find several of the wire shelves bent right out of the box. The packaging was intact and well-padded, so it doesn't seem like a shipping issue — it likely left the warehouse that way. I tried to hide the damage by placing those shelves on the bottom, but it's frustrating to receive a new item in less-than-new condition. Otherwise, it functions well and fits the space nicely.

The shelf was easy to assemble, looks great, is sturdy enough for my purposes. I love it! The only downside is that small objects fall between the bars, but I knew that's what I was getting anyway.

watch packaging. i purchased in April, but just had time to clean out area to be used in. opened box for shelving was taped with shipped tape on both ends. Then when opened found NO SCREWS AT ALL TO PUT UNIT TOGETHER WITH. Now i know why it was taped at both ends, was a return or damaged box in shipping to store. Not happy camper. Now I need to get a replacement, so have to wait AGAIN.

Flimsy. Screw holes on rods not big enough, screw's won't tighten. Bad purchase for me. Am returning.
