Exactly what I've been looking for, with the wide mouth opening %26 fair price for a quality product.
My husband loves these pitchers. They take up the space of two pitchers with only one. I ordered two of these and it helps give us lots of space that 4 pitchers took up now using half the space! They are high quality also and an amazing price!
Was looking for a thick durable well made jug for tea. I drink like 3 gallons a day lol. This is a really good jug to make the actual tea in and then throw in the fridge. Easy to carry and doesn't take up to much room in the fridge. Simple to clean and dishwasher safe. Really like it, worth the buy!
Just what I was looking for, I use it to prepare powder lemon tea mix and have it ready and cold for the week, the hole is big so I don't spill the powder and the cap closes so tight that I can shake it as hard as I want and not even a drop comes out... Excellent product.
Very nice container for things like tea where you normally have a large amount. Easy to handle and clean. My only issue is that the cap for the pour spout (the white part on the red over shown in the picture) became difficult to unlock when trying to pour drink and finally snapped off. It still seals the pour hold but not sure how sturdy it will remain over time since the pour lid cover is not attached to container cover. Other than that it is a great item for the kitchen.
The gasket (seal) inside top came out, dont know when or where it happened. The sealing leaked and does not work properly.
I am disappointed in the quality that Rubbermaid has dropped to. This being one of them. Their pitchers lids leak no matter how tight you make them. In fact the tighter you screw on the lids the worse they leak. It appears that their quality over the years has suffered. I have all of the different sizes and this one is the worst. Save your money and buy a different brand.
you sent me the 5 dollar pitcher. I paid 25 dollars for the other pitcher.
This is possible one of the worst products I have bought in a long time. My kids love lemonade, so I wanted to get a pitcher for ease in making it without using used store juice containers. I have tried and tried and I have no way of resolving the fact it leaks constantly. When I shake it to mix, it leaks. When we pour it, it leaks. The o-ring/gasket is intact and in good condition, so it isn't that. I have had to put some plastic wrap between the lid and container to screw on before shaking to mix, to try and prevent leaking during that part of using it. It is also a terrible design. The handle is difficult to clean. I happened to have a baby bottle brush, that has a foam/sponge tip and brush “trunk” and it is flexible- so I was able to clean MOST of it, but could not reach that bottom part of the handle, where I did notice some mildew build up. I tried many different things, but finally, putting in the dishwasher allowed it to come clean. I don't usually put these type containers in the dishwasher but it was my last option. Also, the container is quite tall and doesnt fit on a normal shelf in my fridge so I had to reconfigure my fridge door to find a way to fit it. Don't recommend.
Needed a new ice tea pitcher to fit new fridge and purchased this. I usually like Rubbermaid products, but someone made a HUGE design error on this. The handle is hollow, so it fills with whatever you put in the pitcher. I know ice tea can stain, and some of the sediment settled into the handle and seemed to want to stay there. I even purchased 2 bottle brushes to use at the same time (had to use 1 to push the other one down), but with the angle of the handle, it was not easy. And the dishwasher couldnt clean it either. Very unsanitary! I then purchased another pitcher with a different type handle (one that was not incorporated into the pitcher) and tossed this one in the trash!
