Big enough for a family of 4 to use very sturdy the foot pedal is easy to use. The design if very minimalist the lid helps keep odor at bay. Easy to find a small area to put it

It looks great and the lifting mechanism works so smoothly. I'm impressed with how easy it is to replace the bag. The lid can lock in the open position which makes changing the bag super-easy. The convenience of the hands-free, slow close lid makes this a superior trash can.

I love it! Has a steel top. Easy to step and open closes very smooth anytime there's any spills, it's very easy to clean up. You don't never have to touch them top to open it. I love that germ-free the bags slide in and out very easily. All and all. It is a plus in my books. I recommend it to my friends and family and it is very affordable I must have

When the lid closed it is very soft & no noise. I love that the lid locks preventing my German Shepherd to get into the trash. Very well made!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Premier® Series IV Step-On Trash Can is a nice trash can after you get it assembled. The instructions for installing the lid are not very clear. You have to attach the lid in a specific way or the lid will completely pop off. The step on feature is nice - the lid closes very slowly. There is a lock feature on the back of the trashcan but I did not see instructions for that feature either.

This came to me dented and completely apart with no box just plastic wrap. The video instructions for assembly are nothing like reality and I'm an engineer. But THE most thoughtless part of this contraption was the stickers that took over a 1/2 to remove, not including me driving to the store to buy Goo-Gone.

Whoever designed this trashcan should be fired. Why would you have a locking mechanism that just locks the lid flap, but the top is easily openable by a dog or child?

Overall its a decent trash can. Not sure its really worth the money as after one year of use the hinge broke so not it cannot open with the foot pedal. Do not see anything about warranty for this. UPDATED: contacted the seller/Rubbermaid. After almost 2 months of not hearing anything, they confirmed they were sending a replacement unit. We received that today April 1st 2025 to find they did not send a replacement unit but just another trash can that was similar but does not have all the features of the original unit we purchased. On top of which the lid is bent so they didn't even send a good condition unit. I'm dropping this down to one star over the lack of and horrible communication and inability for the company to be forthcoming about their intentions and speed at which they handled this. The pictures I added show the unit we purchased that is broken but has the red tab for the lock in place as well as two pictures of the unit they sent which does not have the lock in place and a bent lid.
