The bowls are made of nice, sturdy plastic. And the lids fit nice and snugly. I love that after I'm finished using them, that I can just pop them in the dishwasher and they come out just like new! The 10-piece set has plenty of small and medium sized bowls. They are slightly redesigned since we bought some a long time ago and the newer design feels stronger and more durable. The smaller containers fit perfectly in my son's small-ish luncbox, and are great for me to take when I'm out running errands or working.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I have used Rubbermaid for over 20 years and I am very disappointed. The lids do not close and I am struggling to keep things contained.
