I'm really loving these for freezing fresh vegetables in single-serving portions either for fresh soups that I make on the spur of the moment, or for when I bake frozen asian foods in the oven - for instance I can add a small side of frozen fajita vegetables (bell peppers %26 onions) to my frozen wontons, egg rolls %26 edamame for a complete meal. One caveat: The plastic becomes more brittle when frozen %26 you have to be careful not to crack it. Otherwise very handy, easy to clean %26 I use them over %26 over again.

Great for freezing my vegetables from the garden. After that I can use them for several other things. but mostly they get the vegetables frozen in them, then we eat the vegetables, and then in the summer they get reused. some of mine are seven and eight years old. So they do hold up! I would recommend this item!

Excellent storage containers, work well, do what they are meant to do. If I were to have any complaints about these containers is the fact they can't handle tomato sauce at all, it will stain the plastic after only one use because of the acid in the tomato's, but other than that, no problem at all. Works great for others things as well, hobbies, crafts, automotive parts, you name it, I use for everything. Highly Recommended

These are great! I use them over and over but if I send them with my kids and they don't come back they are inexpensive enough that it is not a crisis. The seal is great on these, I do put them sideways in my lunch sack and have not had them leak. Good value and tons of uses.

We use glass containers daily, but for giving guests extra to take home these are great. They were my go to containers to take lunch to work when I worked in an office. I would not recommend them for heating food in a microwave, but great for sandwiches or snacks. Great value.

What I like about these rubbermaid containers is that they are see through. I use them for leftovers and with a washable sharpie label the contents for easy identification. made with heavy duty plastic, not glass, not breakable, What I like the most is that you have a variety of sizes, to hold everything from a small salad to a large turkey. We feel its a real bargain to cook at home and reheat leftovers. They will last forever.

These food containers work well for their intended purpose. Personally, I prefer using glass containers for heating food, but with my 13-year-old who often forgets to bring back my nice containers-these are a great alternative. If he doesn't return them, it's no big deal because they're affordable and get the job done. The lids lock securely, though they can leak occasionally if they aren't laid completely flat. We also use these to send leftovers home with friends and family, and if the containers don't make their way back, there are no hard feelings. They're convenient , practical, and perfect for situations where you don't want to worry about losing a container. Also, my dad use to use them for storing his screws and misc little tools.

I love Rubbermaid TakeAlongs in any size I buy them. They seal great, and cost little for the quality they are. They are also inexpensive enough that I use them when I make cookies etc. as gifts and also to send home leftovers sometimes with dinner guests and I don't worry about making sure the containers are returned.

Excellent containers for leftovers, stackable in frig or freezer, don't leak, excellent for carrying foods in coolers, taking foods to friends, dishwasher safe on top shelf, and long-lasting. I don't ever remember one breaking. They come in many different sizes, large and small.

I said I recommended this item but it would be with caveats. I would not buy these for my main leftover dishes at home. I purchased to send food to my son and not be concerned if I do not get the dishes back. Or possibly bringing leftovers home from holiday gatherings. They will work fine for these purposes as well as maybe taking food to work or similar. Honestly, mostly what I am putting in them is casserole-type things so I do not know how well they would keep liquids contained. I'm not sure I would try them in a situation where I would be super concerned about spillage. Also, be sure to know what size you are purchasing and this is kind of difficult when ordering online. I actually wished I had gotten the next size up for my purpose.
