I love these containers from Rubbermaid. They last a long time and hold up really well. Of course if you overcook something in the microwave it melts a bit inside, but even then I've never had a hole melt through it. Red sauces discolor it a little. But if you wash them out right away it's not bad.
Love these bowls! They are good quality and I have never had one leak. Great for sharing when you make soup, stew or chili. And the price is low enough that if you don't get the bowl back, it wasn't your favorite one from Aunt Millie. Buy them, you'll like them!
These are awesome for storage. Just the right size for making Jell-O. You can use these bowls for mixing too. Perfect seal. Only problem I have with these and all plastics is when you use in the microwave a red sauce, like to heat up spaghetti sauce, it stains the plastic. Hard to remove the stain, even with bleach.
I've been purchasing these for years. They're so great. I use them to store food and I use them as regular or I used to use them anyway as regular plate where until I bought my own house and now I use regular China, but one recommendation though is if you're going to microwave in it, don't take it to full level because it's gonna burn up inside. Also, it's best if this plastic is hand washed rather than put in a dishwasher, just think about all the micro plastics you will be consuming overall though these are a big plus
These bowls are the perfect size for storing and freezing soups, stews, stroganoff, etc. plus they are reusable and reasonably priced. i definitely recommend and will buy again.
These are great bowls. They seal nicely, they're nice sized medium to large bowls and even do well in the microwave. Of course, I wouldn't chance microwaving long or placing the lid on while in the microwave. These are the thinner plastic bowls that are convenient and easy to clean. I highly recommend .
See...the thing is...our containers DISAPPEAR! Not the lids, usually. We some kinda way, hang on to those. But the containers themselves...ELUSIVE...I bet they're with all the missing socks? Considering how quickly they VANISH at our house, these were a great price point...in the event they fall victim to the phenomenon and they're the perfect size for leftovers! Worth noting that, even with chilli or red gravy in them...they don't stain.
While not being super expensive these large containers are great. The lids close well. The containers are thick enough to be durable in the dishwasher, yet light enough to store on a fridge shelf. The lids close well, and stay sealed. Excellent choice for storing larger amounts of food.
I've used these Rubbermaid storage containers for years now! I use them for just about everything! They stack well and hold up well. I just throw mine in the dishwasher along with the lid and they come out fine. No problems with the seals....ever. For the price point, they are some of the best storage containers out there, in my opinion.
Not microwave safe. These melt and no one should put them in the microwave and they should not be advertised as such. They also become very brittle in when used for the freezer, several have cracked. I am not sure that eating food stored in these after microwaving or freezing is safe.
