[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did you know the rubics cube was created to help students understand three-dimensional problems? 40 years later and the Rubics cube remains one of the top toys for all ages. I remember my grandfather playing with one..it looked way to complicated for me, and still is. When this new thermochromic puzzle cube we call a rubics came in the mail from #familyratedclub I thought "oh no"...can I peel off the stickers and trick everyone into thinking I did it? lol.. my 11 year old daughter took right to it. She figured it out quite quickly...I was shocked..I couldn't believe it..than I found out she had looked online to see how to solve the cube. This cube looks really cool..I think the orignal one is white? This cube is black and the colours are supost to fade as time goes by playing it until you cannot see the colours anymore.. I tried warming it up numerous ways, my hands, holding thumb doen, hot breath and couldn't get the colours to budge. This cube is for advanced puzzlers I must add because I don't stand a chance with it. I'm really happy Bella has taken a liking to the rubics. I bet in no time she will have it mastered. She's an amazing puzzler. Will be a great QUIET addition for summer trips with Long car rides..were all quite competitive so I'm not giving ip on it myself just yet.

At first glance it all looked a bit silly and easy as I thought y could kind of see the colors through the black. But I WAS WRONG! You cannot tell what the colors are at all and this has kept both my children busy for a few hours of play ! Great game to bring in long car rides, airplanes or just at home! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fun and entertaining way of solving a rubics cube, love the whole sensory touch feeling to it too! I'm very hard at solving it so its been frustrating at times but my kids enjoy it and a fun way to pass the car during roadtrips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #gotitfree We love puzzles in this house and the Rubik cube is one of the favourites. This Phantom Rubik cube makes it more interesting. My 12 year old loves the challenge and the almost 8 year old cannot wait for his turn to get a try. Definitely a hit! and on our list of presents for friends and family. We got to try it for free but the opinion are our own.

We haven't solved it yet but are working hard , with the technicolor feature it definately adds another level of difficulty to it . Keeps the kids busy and entertained all while training their brain in a different way

My kids are loving this cube even though they are still figuring it out. Less screen time now. They carry this on the go instead of iPads now. Im really happy. If you love challenges then I would recommend it.

At first I thought it was defective because it was supposed to be black and when you touch it your body heat warms the cube and the color appears. Mine looked like an original Rubik's cube. Then I realized it was a very hot day and it sat in the mail box for a little bit. I tossed it in the freezer for a bit and it turned black. This toy will be an awesome winter game.
