Intimidating to look at for people like me who doesn't even attempt to figure out a 3x3... it presented a challenge for my son and it's keeping him busy... money well invested... definitely recommend
My grandson loves loves loves this. It arrived quickly and in great shape.
My nephew has many of these Rubik's cubes of varying sizes and he saw this model in a couple stores. I bought it for his birthday and he brought it with him to relatives' houses and dinners. It keeps his attention and was a conversation starter for sure. Between family and friends, we gave it some spins and were able to restore it to its original pattern.
When I ordered tje 3x3x3 and 4x4x4 they camezqith plastic tiles that were part of the actual puzzle; however this 5x5x5 model comes with sticker on it that wil eventually fall off/fade.. disappointed... I already had this cheap version and thought buying official rubiks brand would be different.
it sadly doesnt turn the best, and i struggle to turn it even once. looks cool on a shelf though
Even if it's the official one, the quality is not what i expected. First of all, it has stickers instead of pieces made of colored plastic. St some point they'll peel off. Second it gets stuck quite often. I paid around 17 which is not bad, but if i had to buy another one again probably I'd bought one of those cheaper cubs made of colored plastic .
I have been wanting a 5x5 cube for a while and when I finally received it, I was happy! I'm still breaking it in upon writing this, as of now I noticed some of the colors were Angled and realized that they are stickers! I was hoping they were colored plastic. Some of the stickers aren't fully stuck on, majority of them are off center and at least 2 stickers are starting to peel off after 40 minutes of using it, most of the stickers have bubbles which reduces adhesion to the cube. It's not worth the price even with the official rubiks cube brand it feels like a knock off. I expected better
This version of the Professor Cube I received is a mechanical nightmare. I had no idea this cube would be so stiff and crunchy. Yes, crunchy. Movement is very difficult and makes solving very time consuming even for experienced solvers. The stickers began peeling after a few solves and I wish I had never purchased this thing. I realize now I should have bought the cheaper 5x5 speed cube, but no! I needed to have the Rubik's brand, which I assumed had plastic color squares as the 4x4 does. It does not. It does come with anxiety and high blood pressure. I do not recommend.
I've got several different Rubik's Cube models and they are fine, but this one is not manufactured or designed very well. It is difficult to rotate the pieces. They rub on each other. Walmart's shipping was great... the price was fine... all that. But what value is there in having great shipping and a good price for a product which is inferior?
This cube is a hunk of garbage...it is about to fall apart and it does not turn very smooth at all. the sickers are falling off too! I think even though it says Rubiks on it, it seems like it may be a fake or a knockoff of the real thing....Do Not Buy This!!!!!!
