It was as advertised and works very well on the two doors of a really large antique cupboard. I was having a hard time finding the type of hardware to fix this problem an 85-95 year old hardwear can be hard to replace not to mention expensive. I replaced the knobs for 75¢ each and attached two magnets with my electric drill and it looks beautiful!!

These things work GREAT! Love them....the price was good, came quickly, solving my problems one by one...would get these again in a heartbeat...

We bought these magnets for a sliding pocket door that doesn't have a latch. just installed and has worked great so far. Will update later after using for a little while longer.

I thought these magnets would have a lot more holding power. I did use them to hold a gate in place outside my house but when the wind blows, the magnets do not hold as strong as I thought they would. Plus, the screws that came with the magnets to use in attaching to wood are very, very tiny. They are hard to hold while attaching the magnet plates.

i have a heavy sliding door to a room that always slowly opens on its own. i thought the monkeys would be perfect and they do work but not alone i needed to put two monkeys because the magnet strength of just one wasnt strong enough. they work and i am thankful for the product but just not the strongest magnets. probably perfect for lighter drawers and smaller cabinets. for months this door bugged me and a handiman was of no help whereas two monkeys were. a cheap fix at about $10.

The magnets did as they were intended. The cover on the adhesives could have been a little easier to get off but otherwise ok. I may still need the screws if the adhesives don't permanently stick to the cabinet drawer.

I think it would work wonderfully if you have a flat surface. My cupboards have a ridge inside the door, so when I placed the magnets between door and cabinet you could see the magnets. Not visually appealing.

They didn't work where I used them, on bi-fold closet doors. I still think they are clever. I'll find a place for them someday.

What a rip off!!! To begin with the tape strips are NOT on the magnets as it shows on TV. They come separately and you have to try to put them on. The strips are either very old or just inferior because trying to get the paper off of the tape strip is ridiculous. Once you get the tape on both magnets, close the object you're trying to keep closed, and both magnets come off on the door or cabinet. The tape doesn't stick to ANYTHING. The magnets stick together but the tape doesn't. The adhesive tape is useless, the magnets are stronger than the tape. Don't waste your money.

These seem strong when you try to slide the plates apart- but they don't have a lot of holding power to keep the cabinet closed once installed.
