Another failure from Rule.
This pump failed in less than 3 months. With no water in the bilge, this "automatic" pump turned on and would not shut off until it burned itself out and killed my $175 battery. Every boat I have ever owned, and that is a lot, every Rule product failed prematurely. Bilge pumps, float switches, blowers and this model 25SA pump included. They are so bad I have to believe that the positive reviews are fake. My new rule for boating is NO Rule!!!

Failed to Work
Received the pump in good condition, fast shipping, which was great. The rest--not so much. We properly wired it for installation and put it in service. As soon as the power was connected it started running--with no water present. And then it just simply ran. And ran. And ran. So--doesn't function as advertised and my guess is we have a defective pump. Very frustrating.
