RUPOUN Baby Carrier, Convertible Soft & Cool Baby Carrier, 4-Position, Blue, for Child, Infant, Newborn

My husband and I were first time parents 18 months ago and had no idea what carrier to register for. There are about a million different ones and we were pretty lost. We figured the only way to make a decision was to try them ALL out. So we ended up trying the ergo, ergo 360, original baby bjorn, lillibaby complete, moby, ring sling, baby katan and a sling by seven slings. Here's what we loved/didnt like about each. Original ergo: LOVED the pocket. Hated that baby couldn't face out and see the world when she was older. Ergo 360: I really loved it but it was much harder for me to put on and take off because the ergo uses buttons instead of the clips like those used on the baby bjorn. Also, the baby bjorn one felt a little sturdier to me. Finally, we liked the baby bjorn one more because we didn't need a separate newborn insert like you need for the ergo. Baby katan: didn't feel sturdy to me. And it stretched out the longer I wore it so I felt like baby wasn't really secure. Original baby bjorn: we loved it because it was a little smaller than the One but we really liked the waist strap on the one so the babies weight is evenly distributed. Moby wrap: wayyyy to much fabric! Too hot for the south and too much of a learning curve for me. I wanted something easier to put on and take off. Lillibaby complete: too bulky for me and I found it difficult to take on and off alone. Seven slings: NO stretch. Didn't look comfy for baby and definitely wasn't comfy for me. Long story short, the baby bjorn one felt sturdiest to us, we loved the clips versus buttons, it wasn't complicated to put on and take off, and it was the most comfortable to wear. Also, it fit my husband and I both really well even though he is 6'4 and I'm 5'2. It was VERY easy to adjust for our respect We now have an almost two year old and we still hike with her in the baby bjorn one. Expecting baby #2 and excited to be able to use this carrier from the start with no need for a newborn insert!

I am a full time wheelchair user. I have a 1 year old and recently purchased a Baby Bjorn One. I regret not purchasing it sooner! It leaves my shoulders clear to push my wheels, it sits baby off my lap forward facing to allow free bending forward, the straps don't move or rub and are very comfortable. The baby loves it! Looking forward to using it more as the better weather comes in. It really helps me bond with my baby, keeping her close while I'm out and about (or in the house!) the head support flap takes some getting used to stopping it from popping back up. Daddy also loves carrying baby and finds it easy to adjust the size.

Was just what we were looking for. Couldn't ask for a better product for the price. Nice material and comfortable.

Fantastic carrier. Excellent quality and looks good too. I use it every day to carry my little boy and he is very comfortable in it even for long walks. The strap around the middle really helps to take pressure off the back which is a god send for back ache! We love it so much we bought another one for my husband to use!

We love this carrier and would definitely recommend it. We've used it for long walks, around town, when eating (to pacify a fractious baby!), and when travelling (in airports etc.). It's easy to put on and use and the baby feels nice and secure next to you. Our only reservations are that there isn't a pouch for valuables (which would be really handy, as it's hard to carry additional bags when you're also carrying a baby), and whilst my husband finds it really comfortable to carry our now 7.5kg baby, personally as a reasonably petite (slight, 164cm) woman, I do find it a strain on my neck and shoulders to carry her any distance.

I like the style of the carrier but it has one major flaw: It seems like there needs to be better ways to adjust the height of the carrier on the body to move baby up higher but that also tightens the body around baby.

I bought this for my newborn 5 months ago. When we were out and about it was impossible to take the carrier off and put it back on again without having to lay my baby down somewhere. Scenario - I was out with my toddler and had my newborn in the carrier. My newborn needed breast feeding but it was a struggle to do so with the front panel in the way. I was super conscious not to unclip the back of the carrier because if I did, I would have to lay my newborn somewhere to be able to clip it back on again. There was no where to lay her safely and I didn't have anyone else there to hold her. I've had to sell the carrier on as it wasn't worth keeping in the end and wasn't as comfortable on the shoulders as I hoped.

Straps were not strong enough

The fastening mechanism is close to impossible. It's a very large, heavy carrier with so many things to fasten that are nearly impossible to do without another person. I'm so frustrated by this carrier
