This item smells sooo good and it is a huge bottle surely to last a while for my long tresses.

I just got this today and only used it once but I love it already! I color my very long hair (medium ash blonde) and it tends to get reddish or brassy looking so I thought this conditioner would help. It may be my imagination but my hair does looked toned down (the brassiness). I need to try the shampoo as well. It has a very nice clean scent and my hair is shining...love love love

Rusk Deep Shine Platinum X conditioner works well at taming the flyaways of graying hair while drying and definitely leaves hair softer once it's dry. When my hair was dryING, the blonde ends got really frizzy and dry looking but when I used a flat iron on the ends it immediately smoothed right out with minimal heat applied and that's what saved me from eating it lower. That portion of hair was bleached about two years ago and is what remains. The purple part of this conditioner is pointless. It's barely a hint of it and it's not toning anything. Conditioner for maintenance purposes needs more not less but you can always add your own purple into this since it's a white based color and it's thick enough to saturate a leave in for deeper treatment and color maintenance. In my experience anyway. The price for the size is pretty reasonable as well. The best part of this item is the smell. It's amazing! It immediately took me back to the 80's and the smell of a conditioner (initials SS in a pink bottle) that has its own community on a popular website because it smelled so good! Like green apples and bananas and mango's? I can't even figure out which it actually is because it smells like them all but I LOVE IT. And dry the scent is subtle and still pleasant and lovely without being heavy.
