Russell Athletic Men's and Big Men's 9-10" Cotton Shorts with Pockets and Adjustable Waist, Sizes S-4XL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing Russell basic cotton shorts for years. Doing everything from workouts, working in the yard, sleeping, camping & hiking, etc. However, this recent pair that I received had the stitching out of a section of the waist band (see photo). This is the first time I've ever seen this happen in the more that 20 pairs that I've owned. Based on my past experience I'm assuming this is an outlier and I won't let it effect this review, but it needs to be mentioned. (I just ran a stitch to repair them and expect to have this pair for another 5 years)

Have no complaints with these shorts. Husband loves them so much that he tossed the other brands he didn't like and only wears this brand. No shrinking when washed and dried.

These shorts are great. Soft fabric. Size is exact. No twisting that can happen with other shorts. Fast delivery. Washes and dries without shrinking. No complaints.

This brand of shorts are the only ones my husband feels comfortable wearing. Washed in cold water, dried in normal heat with no shrinking. Nice elastic with tie. True to size.

Bought these because they are listed as 100% Cotton. They are a 50/50 Cotton poly blend. They're fine. I've kept them. But be aware that this listing is inaccurate.

Great fit but not enough elastic to hold the shorts up… even tied tight if you have a cell phone in your pocket, they're going to fall off! Needs more elastic!

The piece of cloth folded over to cover the elastic was poorly fastened by a single very fine thread which was unraveled so the cloth unfolded and exposed the elastic. Plus a long continuous thread like a spiderweb all over.

We've been loyal customers for 20 years, it's frustrating when sizes change and don't match the description. Hopefully, they'll take customer feedback seriously and revert to the old design for small. They state 9 in length. They are 8 ins the crotch is longer
