Russsell Fuel Filter
I recently purchased this product and pleased with the prompt delivery. Today I was preparing the installation and opened up the filter to see the mesh bronze filter and noticed that the inside of the filter was corroded and appeared rusty - how can an aluminum filter rust? The lot date was 6/30/15 (sitting on the shelf for a long time) and was made in China (which explains it all). I will try to clean interior but am reluctant to install.

This filter is junk
This filter will not tighten up without the threads skipping a tooth and after purchasing is states that it is only for use with engines under 300 horse power!! Who has a performance engine under 300hp---not to many. I am disappointed and will be returning the filter to say the least
