I don't eat a lot of candy but they say an ounce of dark chocolate a day is good for you. So I eat one piece of candy a night and prefer truffles. Thought I would give these a try and they are different then other truffles and so rich and flavorful. I plan on getting another box for my daughter for her birthday this month.
Excellent designed and frosted cake. It came exactly as described and shown and the team colors were on point. The icing and the cake was absolutely delicious! The size and pricing of the cake was very affordable. One of the best designed and tasting cakes I've had.
I guess you could have these for dessert they weren't decadent The filling was kind of hard and it really wasn't any cream to them. I thought they're gonna be like cake maybe like petite fours would be. they were kind of hard and I just didn't find them delicious they were any exciting flavor and the brownie tasted like just chocolate, but I did buy one for my brother-in-law and he really liked them so I don't know if this review would help you or not. It's more like candy than it is a cake if that helps any.
The candy I received was very was very good. It was actually sweet, but not too sweet and it was decadent and it made me crave for more for more. It was really delicious. It was a great thing for Christmas. Thank you for making it. I recommend this to all my friends sorry threw all the boxes out already.
I bought a few of these to give out as Christmas gifts. In case I had forgotten someone, I had a few extra's to be sure to give out. Everyone who received one, enjoyed them.
Purchased as a gift for my mother's care givers. They work hard and deserve a deliciously decadent treat, one that is very unique! Would recommend if you are a chocolate lover or if you're looking for a gift for one.
The problem for me was the name--truffle. I expected chocolate. Other than a thin other coat these were pieces of dessert, such as a bite of brownie with a thin coat of chocolate and a bite of red velvet cake with a thin cost of chocolate. Though it didn't taste stale, it was kind of dry. All in all, it didn't give you truffle chocolate which really disappointed.
i expected them to be creamy and soft. These candies were dry and no distinctive taste to any of them. At least expected the cream cheese to taste as such but was disappointed
My family loves chocolates, and usually Russell Stover's is our cheaper Go-to for the holidays! Sadly, the selection of dessert flavors fell super short, and we will never rebuy this selection! We felt none of the cake flavors seemed to come through, due to the chocolate overpowering what little flavor was inside. I expected the Cheesecake Truffle to be the most flavorful, but even it was bland . And though it might be a batch issue, the Brownie Truffles (which has the largest quantity in the box) ALL had a super gritty texture inside- possibly from undissolved sugar or cocoa powder? Last, although this is not usually a deal-breaker, the photo on the box makes you believe the inside of the chocolates will look fluffy and cakey, but they look like any other dense creme filling.
Overly sweet. Practically no flavor. They were creamy, except the brownie flavor was gritty. I would never buy them again. I bought several varieties of Russell Stover. I hope the others are better.
