Russell's Reserve Rye 750ml, Whiskey

If you're a fan of any of the Russel's (Wild Turkey) craft you are probably a fan of rye. Gotta love you some spice. If not, then this may not be for you. A lot on the nose and then cinnamon on the palate to say the least. It has a smooth but short finish. Great on the rocks neat and in an old fashion. My favorite old fashion is made with Russel Rye….Enjoy and follow your spirit….

I sampled this bottle at a fancy Italian restaurant. It made all my pasta and bread taste good and complimented the ingredients. It was so good.

The taste was bold and had such a bodie for such a young bourbon. One of the best 6 yr old bourbons on the market.

I just recently bought my first bottle of the RR 6-yr rye. I'm a sipper and not a mixer and this is a great sipper. When my bottle gets low I will buy another.

The RR 6yr rye is my go to for old fashions and other mixed drinks. Its flavor mixes perfectly in all my favorites and contains the perfect amount of flavor without overpowering the cocktail. Highly recommend!

I purchased my first bottle a few weeks ago for a friend's get together. Nobody had ever had it before. The bottle was empty in a very short time. They all loved it. And there were other Rye's for them to drink . They preferred the Russell's.

Purchased because I have some “Rye” drinker friends. Bottle went over well. Great taste at an affordable price.

I'm a fan of Wild Turkey products in general, but I feel this rye would be better served by a higher proof. Sure, that puts it in the same company as Rare Breed Rye, I get that. So maybe a longer age, 10 years, like the Russell's bourbon, would work?
